Rumor has it gamestop has the shipments, And a few other stores will get it on the 5th (Known street date breakers). I’ll keep updating once I receive more info. But I can say with confidence Nyc will be able to get it a week before. Just like SSF4.

Yeah ShopTo (roughly £32.85) have it for a quid cheaper than TheHut (which is where i pre-ordered mine £33.85.) However, ShopTo seem to be selling the comic for a tenner separately. So my plan was to get a T-shirt and then get the comic separately later. Gambling a bit that after the game comes out, the comic is still available…at the moment you can’t pre-order it.

Btw according to Capcom Europe there is a steel book edition that’s the most appealing imho.

It’s also possible to buy the game cheaper via Zavvi for £28.77 by signing up to RewardYourThirst refer 3 email addresses and obtaining a 15% off voucher.

Just about to post this. Did you call VGNY up? I might do it tomorrow. That’s the spot I got Super from and they had it about a week-1.5 early. Definitely PM/ hit us up with the spots who have it on the 5th if you know. I’ll check this mom/pop shop in Queens and see if they’ll break the date.

I think Gamestation has the steel book version + artwork but when i popped into the store i couldnt find it mentioned or on the website either. Unless its been put up on the website since i last looked…

Note: The SE edition isnt available in europe, furthermore their supposed steelbook copy is the same price as the “standard edition”. I suggest you call their HQ’ers first before ordering, a handful of things dont seem right over there.

The steelbook looks pretty snazzy, I’m kinda pissed off that there is no way in euroland to get the game with Shuma+Jill included. Thanks for the heads up about that offer, I don’t drink any of those drinks so it’d end up costing me about the same after I’ve bought some bottles as just keeping my shopto.net pre-order.

As linked by vasili0s, Gamestation have added the separate steel book edition to their catalogue. As for Zavvi pre-order deals, it’s part of the Hut group and the itemhas a picture of that t-shirt.

You could drop Zavvi an email to see if there is a t-shirt if you really want it. In any case have you used all the email referrals? I’ve not drunk any Pepsi or other drink. I think you’re able to register fake friends’ email addresses too.

I’m surprised no one has mentioned Gameplay (£37.99) or GAME (£39.99). GAME aren’t doing the cheapest price or extra goodies so no point ordering from them unless you want double points on your card (if you have one). The thing I like about Gameplay is I usually end up getting the game a day early from them

I’ve never heard of The Hut until today and haven’t used Zavvi online so no idea how reliable those guys are. Torn between spending ~£4 more with the strong possibility of getting early or trying a new place for the T-shirt x_x;; Zavvi say they’ll deliver on release but seems like The Hut won’t (3-5 days after launch?).

Duh I’m a bit blind, concerning Zavvi and the T-shirt it’s written in the product title “Marvel VS Capcom 3: Fate Of Two Worlds (Free MvC 3 T-Shirt When You Pre Order This Game)”.

More edit fun: Wow, just looked for Zavvi reviews and they have been pretty horrific. Quite a few concerning pre-orders as well. It’s a case of if it goes good, great, if they mess up then they mess up bad. I’m avoiding them and sticking with Gameplay who I trust.

Any reason sumone gives you is probably gonna be personal because it’s there reason for not wanting to order from capcom.

Not having a way to shop online can be a problem for some… no debit card no credit card and its just easier to go to a store and buy it then say, trouble sumone to use there card to buy ya sumthing online. Also the main reason to me would be that a lot of people have credit and have items they can trade in to make the price of the game free if not put a huge dent or even a small one compared to paying full price. If you have $100 at gamestop in credit and its not for sumthing particular why pay full price for it just because the people that made it will give it to you.’

so even though you say no personal reasons which i find weird, having as early as possible ie… getting there when the store opens instead of waiting till mid day to receive a package and the option to trade items in and or use credit toward the purchase which you cannot do with The Capcom Store are both good reasons to not order from capcom.

It can also be a gift for sumone u live with and you don’t want them to see the package.

I really want to pre-order that Steelbook edition with the artbook. Though that pricing is a bit dubious, and there is no pack shot. Are there any more legit looking places to pre-order the steelbook edition?

Or maybe sell all of the separate parts individually, and then sell the stealbooked game for $69.99. It works, don’t ask why lol
