Thank you, that combo can definitely get me started while I push for her optimal stuff. I play her point so the reality is I may be able to get away with assist aided combos in most cases.
My issues with the corner ender though is jumping backwards to give sand splash enough room for all the hits forces me to do j.HS early before I’m too far out and this means when i land there’s not enough time to do sand splash even if it’s charged, unless this window is tight too? OR am i supposed to jump straight up when flush with the corner?
Tryin to build on it…and it does less damage…wtf. Her scaling is so weird. She;s got some nasty resets though with RR(pendulum). I end my combos with j.:h::s:, assist, delay, toy touch, sjc.:atk:+:s:. Really dirty cross up as they flip out of the hit.
Hey what’s happening guys, I am going to be making a series of tutorials starting out with my favourite Capcom character Felicia.
I already have a vague idea on what I am going to include in the tutorial however I would like to know what you think I should Include.
I would like to cover as much as possible and it would be cool if I could get some input ^_^.

So I’m using rolling buckler as my felicia assist… and its actually pretty nice to use as a cross over counter. However, I suck at comboing after it, seems a bit inconsistent… any tips?
i usually XF cancel into a combo cuz I really only use the cross over counter when my opponent locks me down with an assist to mix me up, it usually leads to happy birthdays situations.
I like felicia for her 22+S, delta kick, and H+S in nuetral game. I primarily use as battery. Im aware she rushdown character but im really poor at optimizing her openings (bnb). Is their other nuetral game advantages she has that I can try solidfy?
If you’re into meter gain and keepaway you can sandsplash + projectile assist if you need to.
Other than that, Felix doesn’t excel so much in the neutral game which is why she is usually played on point [which is where i use her] or as an anchor.
New to Felicia, I played some games tonight, and almost every time I went for a Delta Kick during an air combo, the spacing was somehow wrong, and they kept dropping out after a hit or 2. Im sure this is a standard problem when first starting, but how can I prevent this?
The great thing was I was landing LOTS of hits, just that my combos kept dropping at the point when I’d Delta kick. Help!!
If your opponent is too high in the air after the jump :h: part of the air combo, they will most likely drop out after the second hit. The reason is because of Felicia’s weird hitbox on her ADK and will only fully land all three hits if landed properly.
To prevent them from falling out mid-combo, midscreen or in the corner, after a crouching :h: stand :s: confirm, you can either neutral super jump or slightly move forward when super jumping. Land the and then the :h: hits and your opponent is not above Felicia’s foot, that is the sure-fire way to land the ADK without them dropping out. Afterwards, follow up the ground bounce with another air combo. Hitstun decay hits hard for Felicia’s combos but if you are just doing a basic ABC launcher MMH ADK, you can just land another MMHS and then charge back for Sand Splash into Rolling Buckler, but if the combo is too far before doing your first Air Delta Kick, you have to convert your combo into cr. :h: stand :s: super jump back :h::s: so that way when you land, you can easily pull off the sand splash without worrying about charge buffering.
I have two problems with Felicia BnB. The first more major one is for some reason, the slide of Rolling Buckler doesn’t always combo, despite how fast I hit the button after an extended opening (L,M,4H, M Cat Spike, M, 4H, Buckler). Is there some trick to consistently getting the slide off?
Secondly, a bit more minor, but after the jump loop in the BnB (j.MMHS), I only sometimes get the full three hits on st.H before going into 2H, S and resuming the combo. Again, is there some trick to consistently getting those three hits?
Both of these require timing. For the first part, make sure that both hits of the Arrow Kick (:h:) connect and land the Buckler Slide inputs really quickly, but make sure the first hit of the buckler slide connects because if you just go right into the slide, it won’t connect.
Second part, it’s height dependent and positioning most of the time. It’s a gamble to land the st. :h: on shorter characters, but definitely easier to land on tall characters like Dormammu and Hulk. If you’re in the corner, neutral jump off of the toy touch mid-combo instead of slightly jumping forward so that after the j. :s: part of the loop, you land with just enough time to land all 3 hits of her st.:h:. If you jump forward in the corner, the st.:h: won’t hit properly and will only get one hit. If you still can’t get the hang of getting all 3 hits, practice using the first hit of her st.:h: and then go into cr. :h: then st.:s:
Like I said, it’s all about positioning and timing. Also if you are midscreen for landing the 3 hits for her st.:h:, try to delay the j.:s: from the j.:h: just slightly to have a higher chance of landing all 3 hits. It’s much easier to land the three hits off a command grab into toy touch mmhs loop because of the hitstun not decaying like her more advanced combos.
1 of the teams I use is felicia nova doom and after a long combo or after ADK, I call nova, do another delta kick and combo off of nova’s ground bounce. I got nothing for drones though
You could also (in the corner) call nova then sand splash if you already used your ground bounce
I basically decided on the swap of drones for arrows for my nova felicia squad, its good shit, naturally. Anyway, this is a ‘bump’ of sorts if anyone knows a good combo extension with drones. Thanks!
