i never actually payed attention to her hands until now lol. allowing hopscotch to otg would be so boss.
EDIT: i also agree with fixing TAC. that shit is so dumb. simple solution would be to just make it like tvc.

lady is pretty sexy too. if lady was in mvc3, best believe i would run dante, trsih, lady. dante and his two lady escorts. damn! he’s such an pimp.
Dante is like the perfect character. Immortal more or less, stylish moves, a million weapons, super strong, scores the ladies…jeez. Even better, he doesn’t have the boy scout attitude of a character like Superman either.
So, it’s a mixup.
I don’t use Skrull but I have 1 suggestion from my experience toying with him. May sound a bit stupid but I feel tenderizer should have a different input. Skrull is not like Chun li where hitting your rapid move is safe and can be continued after using it once. IT should be a hadoken motion of some sort considering in this game hitting buttons in rapid succession is what you should be doing. Ive seen too many players on stream accidentally getting tenderizer because they are attempting to do an ABC combo very quickly.
Most of the things that are really good in this game, I like. Wouldn’t ask for too much.
Dark Phoenix - no speed boost during x-factor.
Tone down Wolverine’s damage just a bit.
Wesker’s health down by 100-200k.
I don’t think the DHC glitch should be removed. I swear, if the DHC glitch is removed in this game, the # of playable characters is going to turn this game into Marvel Vs. Capcom 3: Arcade Edition. Sure it can be compensated by buffing other characters, but after AE, I don’t think I trust Capcom to balance a game. It’s still pretty early to shout out what needs to be changed when people are still uncovering shit. I mean, look at Spider-Man. We all thought he was ass but with the right assists, or with him ALONE, his web-throw attack is godlike. In short, I would rather keep all the good shit, but really try helping the low-mid tier characters like Cap and Hsien-Ko and doing as little as possible to the top tier.
Oh, and I appreciate the removal of infinites because with the DHC glitch and ridiculous combos and even X-factor, there’s nothing more DULL than watching a character do the same 1 or 2 moves over and over again. At one point, it was cool back in the day, but if I know I’m gonna die from getting hit, I don’t wanna die to a broken record playing, I wanna hear the fat lady sing her entire song.
Yeah, i need sleep. u_u
X-Factor needs to go I rather have like a roman cancel type system then X- Factor. It’s unfair at so many levels it isn’t even funny.
Wolverine needs to be toned down just in damage or lower his hp
Phoenix needs to be reworked. Her teleport is blindly fast, with her fireballs its too good of a mixup, and her keep away game is unmatched. And it gets worse with Dark Phoenix.
Dante’s j.S needs to be unsafe on block or whiff.
Countering TAC needs to give you some sort of advantage
it already is.

I can see the TAC thing… but what I can’t agree with is XFC not recovering block stun. I’ve seen Timothy use it to take out Dark Phoenix for spamming crL. I myself used it to land Haggar’s level 3 when getting spammed. I think it’s fine. it’s a one-time deal and if you do it wrong you STILL use up your x factor and take damage anyway.
Thing is, good players aren’t going to use it wrong, they’re going to wait till they see a move with x amount of recovery, x factor and kill your character for doing anything. You literally can’t attack doom almost when he has x factor level 3 or your character will die. It just seems kind of dumb to me that you can just up and lose a character out of no where when you technically made no mistake. People haven’t been abusing it a lot yet but I’m starting to see it more lately, and I’m sure it’ll get worse as time goes on.
They don’t abuse it that much not only because it requires you to have Doom out last, with three bars and X-factor unused, but because in can be circumvented or simply rendered absolutely useless by having more than one character.
Also, just a thought, but would anybody mind if characters were limited in the number of hard knockdowns in a combo, just like ground and wallbounces? After the limit (which would probably be either 1 or 2), a hard knockdown would just convert into a soft knockdown.
Yeah that was just an example, Wolverine can just x factor and 2A you… pretty sure that shit is 1 frame in x factor. I also dunno if I agree in saying there’s balance because you have other characters left after they get a free instant kill on one of your characters for simply blocking a safe move.
This makes x-factor no longer fix the problem it is targeted at, without actually making the mechanic any more fun. I’d rather it be replaced with something else entirely.
Well, there’s nothing to say that they can’t do it back to Doom, either. I mean, sure, his lvl3 has incredibly fast startup and invincibility, but there’s no reason that an aggressive Doom who gets blocked can’t have the same thing happen to him. Hell, I know that a lot of people do it even with XF1 just to get rid of wolvies.
I’ve always thought that Viper looks a lot like Uma Thurman, especially when you get the yellow Kill Bill suit.
Regarding TACs, Capcom actually had it so you were able to start up your own combo after a successful TAC counter. It was in the E3 build, back when everyone was complaining that the game was TvC2.
TAC counters should either net you your own combo or YOUR team gets the meter it would’ve built instead. I don’t agree with the decision to remove this at all.
Yeah, it definitely made TACs riskier to do. Making it so you take a few pixels worth of damage + busting up your combo feels like they want us to be using TACs a lot. I’ll go for them fairly often now just so I can bring in MODOK or Sent to do cubes/fly combo shit, but I’ll easily stomach taking a sliver of damage while risking the chance for a CKC.
Right now, the problem with the TAC system is twofold now that I look at it: The reward greatly outweighs the risk, and the punishment is equal no matter what direction you attempted to do a TAC with. This doesn’t make sense to me intuitively because I feel there should be greater punishment for trying to get greedy and go for a full bar on a d+S exchange rather than just do u+S exchange simply to swap characters and reset hitstun. It would be nice to see something like this:
u+S exchange countered: 80,000 damage, both characters are reset to a neutral state. (what it is now, but more damage dealt on the counter)
f/b+S exchange countered: 120,000 damage, hard knockdown.
d+S exchange countered: 150,000 damage, you automatically get to start up your own combo in the air from “launched” state. (what the E3 build had, except the initial counter does significantly more damage)
Something like that would make it so that building meter from a TAC becomes a lot riskier to do, but you still reap all the benefits from doing a side exchange or a down exchange.
No. This game got untechable regular throws, high mobility in favor for the attacker, all rushdown characters having a teleport, , possible tick throws, difficult crossups scenarios, TAC system in favor of the attacker, 50/50 mixups the favor of the offender, mixups boosts due to X-Factor, a strong air throw game in favor of the attacker , unblockables, and chipping being a huge factor in this game. It’s virtually impossible to turtle in this game, and I have a hard time believing anybody struggles to open anybody in this game.
This game is ridiculously bias for Rushdown characters, and very few mechanics help the defensive player. So no.
