I think those laugh may be these “Demons” Akuma gets his power from. They come out during his flash and victory pose with all that purple shit.

True. Hey, think you can convert the movelist to MvC3 terms since we have no more Punch/kick? :sad: A little more cohesiveness with all the other character treads imho.

i bet for beam its qcf+attack+exchange
and barrage is same without exchange button

I think you all talking about “Ryu being obsolete” are missing the obvious. Remember that this game is not just for fighting game nerds who post on message boards. Akuma looks far better than Ryu no doubt, and as of now I don’t see a reason to use Ryu, but Akuma looks like he’s gonna be execution heavy. Ryu looks like he’ll be better for people who don’t know any better.

Maybe his shinkuu cant punish as great as Ryu’s

the barrage air version is back so now im crossing fingers for tatsu xx air Tenma Gou Zankuu

His hyper damage seems much lower than Ryu’s.

In the gameplay vids it looks like his momentum doesn’t actually stop completely when he fireballs…

You also have identical inputs for SRK and Demon Flip. If I had to guess Demon Flip would be :dp::e:
