MvC3 Akuma Combo Thread

People over at the akuma thread we noobies need you guys to hit us up with akumas solo bnb. Make it happen friends.

Its the same for me as you. Id have to watch the combo to and then write it down. So I dont see what the diff is. If theres something in paticular you dont get I can try and help other wise id like to refrain…Thanks for watching though.

Can anyone transcribe Justin Wong’s akuma combos from Winterbrawl vs ChrisG grand finals? We was using some demon flip combos that look pretty optimized.

You mean the c.L, c.M, c.H, S, sj.MMH, demon palm, j.S, land, j.MHS, l.tatsu, c.M, c.H, S, sj.MMHS, land, air fireball, beam super.

After demon palm, j.S. That’s a hard knockdown, so you need an OTG assist to pick them back up don’t you?

No offense but that is a ridiculously easy and not efficient combo. Never do jumping lights and do m air M,M,H. That is probably the easiest and least efficient akuma combo of them all.

So much wrong with that. Are you sure you transcribed it again because I can’t find him doing that combo without xfactor and killing early.

No, cause the palm ground bounces them first, meaning they’re no longer in a launcher state. You do the falling j.H after they bounce and before you land.

Yup didn’t realize that until I attempted to make my own akuma combo. I thought that when you mean jump s it was right after the demon palm still in mid air like with the fireball super. but his other combo. This combo is much better and isn’t that much harder: cr:l: st:m::h: fd:h: light flip --> palm j:m::h::s: fireball j:m::h::s light tatsu land st:h::s: jump air :m::h: fireball super --> s land tiger knee or fast air fireball into beam super. Not my combo I just like to only do one j:m::h::s: loop into fireball before tatsu and I like to start with cr:l:

Yup I figured it out like a few minutes after that question. I started with ultimate and don’t have much time to play nowadays so was kinda confused about this but this combo is great.

Yeah I know most akumas prefer the crouching string to hit confirm into combos much better, than going into standing M which I don’t think will let you get the forward+H after if you’re not close enough. Essentially for that combo, you want to be close, you want to hit your first low and confirm off it and you want them to have a big enough hitbox and not crouching. So generally the standard bnb is a much better choice imo.

Found a new midscreen combo for Akuma, does slightly more damage in the corner but I think still does at least 1 Mil.

is anyone here doing half-stage carry, 1 meter built, 1 meter cost, 780 damage, cr.LMHS starter combos? or is that just me? (ending in the corner)

Which one is that I just stick to
cr:l: st:m::h: fd:h: demon flip :l: into palm j:m::h::s: :l: fireball j:m::h::s: :l: tatsu st:s: sj :m::h: :l: tatsu fireball super or beam super if I don’t want to continue. Not sure if it’s better than yours because I never end it with just fireball super.

I think you have the damage set up too high my friend, i have found no such combo that does that much with one super.

You can tack on an extra otg at the end for a bit of dmg. or the Hado xx Hyper (Beam) for 927.

try this: cr.LMH > S > j.H xx [PALM] > j.H xx L. hyakkishu + H (land) j.MMH xx L.Tatsu (land) > cr.H>S> j.MMH xx L.Tatsu > Hyper (Spread) > j.S…etc.
