true. in DC?arcade u don’t even need to time that much to do airdash after the stomp, but not the shit doesnt work really. It take out some good setups with her on air vs air… vs sent doesnt change much but oh well…

    The sound levels at their max slider settings are MUCH quieter than any other game’s volume, system sound effects, or music on the system. The game’s sound levels are about 50% lower than anything else. Getting the game sound to the same volume your system was at before playing the game requires turning the TV/sound system volume way louder than it was set at before starting. As a result, after quitting the game, the system sound effrects and any other game volume is blaring, and requires turning it back down. This was tested on both HDMI sound through a TV and dolby digital sound through a surround system.

X36o/PS3/general

When spectating matches, the spectator notice text should be less obtrusive (i.e not in the middle of the screen). Pretty annoying, especially if anyone ever wants to capture matches.

  • PS3 (may be on 360, I don’t have that version)

  • Cammy’s Killer Bee Assault doesn’t have the invulnerability frames she has in DC/Arcade

  • Captain Commando does Captain Sword, Cammy winds up to the back wall before the sword comes down, but she gets hit before her super can activate. This has been happening with several other supers as well. What’s supposed to happen is Cammy does the super motion, she’s supposed to wind up to the back wall invulnerable, fly across the screen invulnerable, and then only become vulnerable as soon as her first kick connects. I’ve been using that trick for years and years in the arcade, and suddenly its reliability has changed in this version.

Another use of the trick that’s supposed to work, but doesn’t here, is blocking, for instance, Hail Storm. Variable Assist into Cammy-a assist (which is invulnerable on the way up), supercancel that into Killer Bee Assault (which is also invulnerable on startup), and Cammy goes from being alpha countered in to kicking Storm in the face completely safely until the first hit, at which point the hail usually hits her and they trade hits.

Edit: It seems erratic. I went through a Super Optic Blast with it no problem, but that Captain Sword managed to hit it.

that second d+lk that keeps coming out and never lets me ROM anyone for more than, let’s say, 15hits is driving me crazy. lol

PS3:

Tron does her gun super and the servbots come running out even if blocked or whiffed completely. Also covering her so its hard to punish. saw this happen like 4 times online LOL.

During online games, the character’s colour will change after being hit by fire or lightning and will remain that way for a while. It’s similar to HDR’s glitch where characters will still have the shock effect after being hit by Blanka’s electric attack.

That isn’t a bug. Your opponent probably used the THC buttons to do that super. I don’t know what assist type she had to be though.

I encountered a bug in the PS3 version, dunno if it happens in the 360 version as well.

My assist one button stops working on its own. This happened to me a few times during matches, but last night it wasn’t working on the character selection screen as well. Also, my “Up” inputs just stop working on their own sometimes.

EDIT:
This happened to me while I was using a PS3 Madcatz TE, no dual-mod or anything. Default layout. Square = LP, X = LK, etc…
I’m not sure how it’s triggered but it happened to me once again today. I couldn’t use assist one (R1) for the entire duration of one of my matches.

anyways, new bug. happened twice

360 - i did a super on the last character and it left him with 1 pixel, but the music stopped like I won and i couldn’t move. the guy with 1 pixel beat my whole team. Seems like the game said i won even though he was still alive.

happened twice so i know it can happen again.

Please post up what controller, and button configuration you used.

I had this odd glitch in player matches, in which the same 2 people went twice, even though I was supposed to go. Apparently, my match was skipped.

Not sure if anybody mentioned this when reading through, but regarding the game hanging on the PS3 version when refreshing the lobby list, it seems disabling voice chat in the search options gets around this problem every time for me. I don’t get the refresh problem in Scoreboard matches, strangely enough, just Friendly.
