MvC2 Xbox 360/PS3 bug database & reporting thread

2nd, when i start guile on xbl, i’m holding back and when the match starts, i press forward and FP to do a sonic boom. it doesn’t come out. It seems like you can’t pre-charge before the match begins. Was it like that on DC? Can you test it because my DC is in the garage.

Yep, had that happen a few times here and there. Hard freeze completely out of the blue. If I recall, it did at other random spots too such as the lobby, character screen and loading screen.

My question is, I havent bought the game yet but keep reading and hearing its BAD! I dont want to play it until its DC perfect. Now, Tell me is it worth getting now or later?

I haven’t had this much fun with my 360 since I bought it.

o geez. I had no idea how broken this version on ps3 is… thanks for all the information. I think i’ll wait til they have a patch for it.

My data doesn’t even get saved anymore, only my weekly wins/loses update. Not the usual leaderboards and nothing on tu4ar.com The data has been the same for like a week.

We must have crossed up in some weird timing, because they called Juggernaut and he came out on one side then corrected to coming out of the other side.

Anytime I tried to time the first hit (no switch glitch) The screen flashes and nothing happens. If we are offline, why is it trying to synch up?

Several times that day one of my assists or my opponents would just die. Most of the time it was A1, but a few times A2 died.

We were both playing on SFIV TE Sticks. I thought we might have hit one of the button locks, but the lights weren’t on so that wasn’t it. Does this game have issues with this joystick? A few times it would work again if we reconnected the stick. Sometimes they didn’t work until the next match.

they stopped updating overall like 2 weeks ago. no one knows why

Only way your points will change on overall is if you play a hacked score thats in the millions

I did Captain Corridor with my point Capcom and hit the opponent’s Spiderman, but his assist hit me at the same time, so my Corridor got interrupted and the huge pillar never got to come out properly. Spiderman got stuck with the blue graphic effect you briefly get when you’re hit with the move and I couldn’t do Corridor again, qcb+p just came out as s.lp or s.hp. He remained blue for the rest of the round but could operate normally, I remained Corridorless for the rest of the round. This was on 360.

Is this something with the new version, or an old known bug? I haven’t heard of it, but I’m not much of a Marvel player anyway.

Dashed at storm, she did a lighting storm on the ground and I tried to block on reaction and ate the super.

kinda reminded me of cable’s unblockable, or is that normally unblockable out of a dash on DC/arcade?

Until tonight, I didn’t realize how bad Cable’s unblockable AHVP is.

It REALLY needs to be fixed. As a Rogue/Tron player, I do a lot of forward air dashing and it’s basically impossible to do against Cable because he’ll just shoot out AHVP and I’m toast…

Mvc2 audio bug

HI,
i got this game for 360
I wanna know iff this is a real bug or just my xbox360.
If i put this game i can listen on the title screen and in the game some audio skipping.It is not the music is somting like this TIC TIC TIC.If you pay attention and put the audio louder you will listen this strange effect,TIC TIC TIC,not alwais but somtime i can listen this strange bug.

im going insane. i still can’t roll consistently. is this just my problem? i swear i’ll mash the inputs for roll 3x during the possible window and it still only rolls like 1/4 the time.

Newb magneto players and cable picking me up off the ground from psy is just fucking annoying

lag. I play a lot of guiles online and you notice quick how big of a difference that input lag makes for rolling.

anyone have any idea when they plan on having a patch? i mean the game’s been out over 2 months now, hoping there’s at least an estimate out there?

Looks like an announcement should be coming soon. Capcom is currently asking if users want the leaderboards reset when the patch goes live:

I read some pages and the first post and havent seen anyone relate this:

Storm basic corner combo: s.hk, sj.hk, addf, sj.hk, land, s.lk, s.lp, s.hp, s.hk
seems WAY harder than before.
There’s a lot of times where s.hp just doesn’t connect after s.lk…
I wasn’t this way, in DC/Arcade this is a hella easy combo.

By the way, I tested it on PS3, 4:3, 720p both online and offline.

A friend of mine confirmed it seems weird
