hmmm, interesting q, but i think it depends on if you mean one on one, or like say cable sent commando vs santhrax… one on one, i actually think cable < storm, sent or mags.
as for team wise… i think mags based team against a storm based team like storm sent/AA

Cable with any decent defensive assist vs. Cyke gets very ugly. Especially Team Scrub Cable. Grenade placement just **** cyke up.
Cable with drones gets very ugly for Blackheart. Drop drones, super jump fierce. If BH jumped, viper beam. if he stayed on the ground, grenade that.
Obviously my absence from the scene has caused a deterioriation in the ability of Blackheart players.

oh yeah, but it’s not like i’m gonna have to worry about beating BH with Cable. I already remembered BH has some other matches worse than cable. like Strider. :tup: 
LOL. To be fair, Cable does beat BH, but he has to mix it up… relying on only one thing will get him into trouble. Ground dash CAN work on short grenade, but only if you predict him (or if he holds the explosion beyond the point he’s supposed to). It’s not a free match because eventually it gets tedious to dodge demons and if you’re not careful you get in the corner, and Cable vs. BH in the corner is a wash.
Strider… bleh. It’s still a better match than Goodneto, who owns BH all over the place.

If you guys count Assist Characters as somewhat “top tier”, i will have to say Commando Vs Cable/Commando, or just Cable…Unless Commando can get close(Which is pretty hard if the Cable player is fairly smart), he’s dead–Especially if he’s solo. Strider matches can get ugly. Sent can beat him like Zangief can beat Dhalsim…he shouldn’t, but you get 2 opportunites and you can take the whole thing back. If he doesn’t however…pretty bad. Same with Cable.
And Ryu beats magneto like 12/0, it’s crazy…

i like putting my Iceman against Sent mostly because of his ice beams. you play the right Iceman, sent will go down quicker than you think.

People, people. I said TOP-TIER matchup. We have 4 top-tiers. I want to know your opinions about the worst matchup with the big 4. No IM or Cykes. Oh and by the way responding to the person who wanted to know what cyke can do about sent fly back. he has gene splice and a tracking super. If he unflys it he loses unfly after that. Next time he flys he is a sitting duck. Plus you have optic blast.
I agree with Cable vs Sentinel.Cable usually has the best space control and less roles in defense/need for risks than against Storm or Mags. But this is counting both with similar assists. Sentinel w/Comando against Cable w/ no AAA is much much closer (and against Cable alone sent would be the favorite, especially if it’s winning).
Storm beats Mag, but not by much, IMO. Sent beats everybody but Cable, IMO, but it also can go either way. Mag and Storm have a good advantage against Cable, but I think Cable vs Sentinel is still more of a one side fight. Mag has to take risks against Cable and Storm has to take some too, unless she has a good lead.
I kind of lost myself here, but there you have my 2 cents. In most situations, Cable vs Sent would be the worst (for Sent).
