I wasn’t too brave, I didn’t mess with anything really. I only changed the dust washer because I had an extra one that I ordered from LL, its Art Hong’s arrow dust washer (Picture at the bottom), used the clear one on my Tatsunoko vs Capcom stick that I’m modding and put the black one on the TE. I’m used to messing with stuff now, nothing to it really because these sticks are so easy to work with.
I am so tempted to pick up 1 for my 360 and 1 for my PS3. The only problem is that I already have 2 TE’s and 1 HRAP EX-SE for the 360, 2 TE’s and 1 HRAP 3 for the PS3 and 2 TvC sticks for the Wii. I just don’t know if I should or not. HAAAAAAA!
lol i bought one of these sticks about 3 hrs ago and both trigger buttons are dead on arival. I think its because I didn’t extend the cord all the way, I just left it folded up since I play at my computer desk and don’t need the extra long cord.
I’m about to call madcatz tomorrow to see if they send me a new pcb. I’m not really mad or upset though since I was going to plug those 2 buttons anyways, its kinda convenient that it came that way :lol: My turbo function doesn’t work either but who the hell needs turbo anyways, am I right or what? :lol: The turbo function on the TE sticks is not that great anyways when compared to the turbo function on Hori sticks so I’m not sweating it.
I read the forum with people saying they had problems with the triggers not working, but there really isn’t anything nailed down other than it could be because of static build up on the metal plate at the bottom or the PCB is bad so I’m not sure. I also heard that this problem only affects the 360 TE’s mostly which I find odd, but oh well. I heard unpluging the stick and pluging it back in works in most cases, but post what they say tomorrow after you call. I’m actually interested to know if there are any differences in the PCB for the Round 1 sticks, and the Round 2 sticks which this basically is.
It mads me mad. I bought this stick 3 days b4 it went on sale for the normal price. But I did get it for 15 cheaper cause the 360 one had the ps3 price on it.
Try and bring it back to the store you bought it at with you receipt.
Damn! I must have bought my MVC TE like 2 or 3 days before this sale. Oh well it’s not like I wasn’t going to buy it anyway.

I just got one of these as well (for $99) here in San Diego. One thing I did not know is that the button layout is different than the SF4 sticks. Question is if there are any issues in re-wiring the stick to match the SF4 layout (R1 and R2 as the third buttons on each row). Wasn’t sure if the wires reach to the QDs on the buttons in order to move around. I figure this would be easier then constantly having to reconfig the layout via the game. Also, I have no need for the MVC layout as I don’t even play that game. Any help or guidance is appreciated. I haven’t opened up the stick yet since I’m waiting for my art and new buttons and will do all work in one shot. ~peace~
^no problems re-wiring it, i just did mines 
the wires will reach, as they are directly next to each other and the wires in the TE stick are really long and tied together. All you would need to do is remove the quick disconnects from the R1 and R2 buttons then place them on the L1 and L2 buttons and vice-versa.
Crow 217, i am interested in the MvC artwork. Are you going to keep it? If not, how much?
@one100bill I haven’t removed it yet and am assuming it will all come off in one piece. Once my artwork gets here (I ordered custom etched plex and custom art template from Art’s Hobbies) and my buttons (and black meshball!) from Akihabara, I’ll remove and let you know how it goes as I am not planning on keeping the art. As for price, depending on where I’ll be shipping to cover charges is all that I’m concerned with (if international etc…). Otherwise, it’s yours. : )
just got one - the box is kinda beat up, and the guy at the counter kept on flipping it open and close to check it out while he was asking me if i wanted to reserve any games (annoyed the f out of me) looked like he was fanning himself. so i grabbed it right out of his hand and said let me see it just to stop him from doing it anymore. dumb guy was going to ruin my mvc2 t.e. stick box! and i can’t have that - lol.

yeah tell me about it - i went to 3 stores trying to find 2 xbox 360 versions.
the first store had one in back but it was on hold for the manager of that store till payday.
i mean honestly i’m an actual paying customer ready to purchase and you’re going to turn me away - hell if it wasn’t for paying customers you wouldn’t get a paycheck - jackass!
i was just about to become furious when they found out it was a ps3 version.
so i had to hunt down and call the other stores.
i barely shop at gamestop unless it’s for exclusive stuff on sale like this.
called my girlfriend while she was out about the deal.
she came home with it $90.96 w/ employee discount
I just got my TvC and Marvel TE sticks yesterday. To my surprise, there were plenty of sticks that haven’t been purchased at the gamestop I went to (It was on base, so I guess that’s part of the reason)
