Well it does says ‘price drop’ instead of ‘sale’. Wouldn’t that mean the price is there (until they sell out to get new sticks in.)
I just bought one and tested it out the sanwa buttons on the stick they feel different than my other sanwa stick like its less tension in the button spring. Did anybody notice this?

I’m from Canada, and the three gamestops that I visited were selling them for 200$
I don’t think it’s so much that it’s a US only deal. Checking the website, it looks like it is only $99 in select stores. I just entered my address and it spit out a list of Gamestops in the area that have it for $99…not every one came up… lucky one was the closest one.
If you used the store locator, the list it’s giving you is the list of stores in your area that have the stick in stock, period.
GS’s online prices used to be the same in store, and still pretty much are, but some of the listings that have a price and say “online price only” are often a little higher in store.

Hell Yeah! I just got one for the PS3! Need a little help though. I want to mod this stick (dual mod it to work with 360 for sure, possible switch out sticks and buttons), but having a hard time finding a good thread on it. The search engine on this site gives such a staggering number of results it’s hard to find what I want. So if someone could direct me to a good thread on how to mod this I would like that very much.
picked it up today for the 360 funny how i called them earlier they had it left out on the counter for me. when i put in the octagon plate it felt more loose than my ps3 one. is anyone elses like this or is it just me?

Snagged 1 today. Employee discount and traded in a couple games and a PS2 controller. Paid $60 for it. So happy, considering I like the first gen models more than the one coming out soon. Unheard of for a damn nice stick.
Just grabbed one of these. Question about the stick itself. There seems to be this weird knocking noise when I move it to the right. It’s not the click of the switches. It doesn’t happen all the time (50-60%), but it’s super annoying. It feels like it’s almost getting caught on something and then once it moves over it it makes the knock then hits the switch. I have the TvC stick and it doesn’t make any noises other than switches and doesn’t feel like it’s getting stuck on something (although I know it’s not Sanwa.)
If I pull up on the stick a little bit and move it around that way it’s a very loud knock, pulling it up is adding contact to whatever object is in the way? Anyone know what this could be and if it’s a quick fix? Not sure if I should open it up or just exchange the thing. It’s pretty noticeable when playing.
ok so I ended up taking it apart through the front since that doesn’t break the warranty sticker. It seems the black piece holding the spring in place(don’t know the proper name, not the actuator but the other piece touching the washer EDIT: the spring cover!) is causing the washer to move around and pop out of place. Any ideas on fixing this? Would gluing the washer help? It’s coming right out of it’s little divet and is causing the stick to get slightly stuck and then causing the knocking noise when it pops back in.
This is my first sanwa stick so I’m kind of surprised it’s operating like this. Can’t be right!
