the top tiers are more versatile and can do more. of course we’re going to pick the top tiers. marvel is fun cuz it allows you to do so much. might as well play the game the way it can be played. i think people just complain because they dont have the urge to master the game as the serious people do and aren’t capable of performing or competing with that type of experience and end up callin it “cheap” since they’re not familiar with the tactics.
but anyway, after gaming it up with friends a lot of the time we get on some low tier matches right after.
i want to believe that low can beat high in high lvl competition! in all actuality i believe it can, vegita x is prime example of somebody not playing a high tier team YET doing very well in tournaments…BUT, with that said, if your trying to take the top 3 spot…meh, doubt its possible…but like i said, i wanna believe they can =)
There are some players at my local arcade who are definitly better than me, but they play low-tiers most of the time. When facing them with my own low-tier team, my win rate is so/so, I do ‘ok’.
Every now and then I’ll break out team scrub just to see how good I do then, and the tables are completely turned. I totally beast on them with little resistance.
Then again who am I kidding? It all depends on how skilled the players are, not what characters they pick. Because I’m able to beast on players who are quite a bit more skilled than I, that is in no way contradictory to that statement.
