O.k. so every year this is supposed to go down and drama and other stuff gets in the way. This is most likely the final year for marvel at evo…so we need t make this year count.
Now this year I don’t know if we can even get it on the big screen, but every year they have a bit of time where we get lucky and get big money matches on the big screen/stage.
One year it was cable guy/smoot, other one was sanford/duc, and so on…this year even if its not scheduled we can still probably pull this off.
So I’m saying we discuss everything now…if it can’t be decided, we’re just gonna go ahead and have J. Wong be captain of EC, and Chris S. or Soo (If Chris S. doesn’t go) be catain of WC. This should only be inforced if things get out of hand or jaded or undecided.
So team suggestions…
EC NEVER seems to have drama or issues deciding its big 5, so I’m just not even gonna touch that.
WC I’m gonna say Chris S. is a shoe in because of hs SB victory. The remaning 4, I’m gonna suggest, Chunksta, soo, rowtron, cable guy, myself, crizzle, clockwork, deus, jmar as people to be considered for the 5 on 5.
Criteria for consideration on te WC team I feel should be:
- Multiple years of experience in majors (particularly evolution).
- Each prson mentioned should have beaten one or more of the people likely to be on the EC team.
- Actively play still (entered in a major last year, either sb3 or evo)
- Have beat someone in a definitive match aka long set, that will be on the WC team or at least is considered for the WC team.
We gotta make this last year of evo count for marvel so lets not derail this topic, troll, or suggest names like Kha0s, no offense.
Though I think this evo should be a big year for him, he doesn’t have experience vs. EC, hasn’t entered many majors that I’m aware of and if he has and I’m not aware that probably says something.
To be honest, MSP has proven to be very solid now…but its quite obvious that the EC has pretty much dominated sentinel development while the WC has dominated msp development for the most part. I at first was going to suggest that each person on the team use a different team. With Wong likely to use Matrix, sanford likely to use santhrax, smooth viper picking scrub, yipes msp (or row) j360 likely to pick combofiend and demon hyo picks mss. (thats 6 and I’d prolly guess that J360 would be an alternate).
I think soo and Chris s. obviously deserve to be on the team, and both do best with msp. Also I’m an exclusive msp user and would like to be on the team also (though I don’t think I would be a shoe in for a spot like soo and chris). I don’t know if WC has the variety amongst its top players to do 5 worthy different teams.
Chris s. MSP, Chunksta MSS, Rowtron Row, that would mean we would still need a santhrax, a clockw0rk, or something for the WC…but since that would be pretty wrong to give people spots just becaue they use different teams…I think that idea should be trashed.
