marvel compared to those games is 100000x visually appealing. More angles, faster game play, random out the ying yang. unless you prefer, hadoken, hadoken, shoryuken!
i should of taken GG off my examples. That game does have some very technical shit in it and it shouldn’t have been lumped in with the others. I actually think GG is better than any other slug fighter out there.
There are still creative tactics left. Its just players are more likely to copy rather than innovate. I can turn marvel on and if feel like it, make up something new every day. Granted, it gets harder and harder the more I figure out but thats the beauty of marvel. There’s always something left in it when you think its done.
The game has been out for 10 years this year. as a community, there has been a lot of things discovered and many things undiscovered. How many players are willing to fuck around with the engine and tweak it to make their strategies more effective? If I were to put a % on the creative players vs the copy cats, I’d say that 80% of people copy and only 20% create.
you’d think that after 10 years, we would have a pretty solid tier listing but tiers are still getting bounced around to this day. IMO, that right there means there is still room for this game to keep going further.

Man , every game you play ,if played long enough will have glitches that will be found in them . You just have to find a way to get around them just like you’ve been doing . I cant say that sent/cap is a broken when r.s.tron ,sent/cyclops, msp and others get away with just as crap as sent/cap com . Yipes rapes that shit for free , youll just have to study what he does and apply it to your game . Im sure he’s has to play way tougher sent/cap players than you and he manages to still win . As far as giving marvel up to play sf4 that should be to last game you replace marvel with . I played a sf4 match online , i was playing guile and the guy online was vega . This gay m.f. does one move the whole time (jumping off the wall) . I tried jumping in the air to catch him , i tried jumping away from him , and I tried using the flash kick. None of the stuff catches him in the air . When the flash kick cant stop an air move and the flash kick cover everything in front and above him and vega still manages to knock him out of it now THAT IS SOME BROKEN SHIT !!! After the match you usually gain or lose 80-90 pts but that shit was so gay the other guy only gained 10 pts from that match . Trust me dawg , stick with marvel .

Wow, this is great news. I was contemplating shelling out some major cash for the PS2 version because I never got to play it. I used to rock it like a MoFo back in the arcade though.

Marvel vs Capcom 3 will be coming out in a later project. All i know it is not official but Capcom is working on getting it in production as well as a new Guilty Gear and Capcom vs SNK 3 too. Hopefully soon in the near future!
