ElderGOD:

Did you push block HSF? There are reblock frames during which you can’t block and even if you get hit try to roll out.

Assist directions aren’t a glitch. One that’s fun to use is to keep dashing so your character doesn’t change the direction he’s facing to cause your assist to appear on the opposite end of the screen behind your opponent.

Saying random unblockable this and that needs to be more specific. Might just be a guard break because you were in normal jump mode (certain actions put you in normal jump mode even if you were in sj mode). Also if a hail stone hits you directly on top of your head it would be unblockable but there are so many that usually force you into block stun. Also if the hail is spread in two waves, and mashing adds a few more hail stones at the end, if there’s enough of a gap for a reblock then you get hit.

Cable can nj HSF, it’s possible but he usually gets hit, it’s too risky to attempt, someone jumping over 1st and then over 2nd set to ahvb is luck imo.

Some attacks are unblockable because you can cause a collision at a point where the relative x displacement 0 so the game can’t tell that there’s something to block.

For Magneto, this is easiest with c. hk because it’s so meaty. Some players can manage with standing fp as well. In theory, for example, you should even be able to with first hit stand hk.

You can expand on this and try to create an unblockable with Ironman fp. The good part about IM’s fp is that if you mess up the unblockable and hit deeper you can still get a crossup.

Man…I’m just so fuckin done with Marvel…I just can’t play a game that has no rules…r better yet, the rules changes within the game for no fuckin reason… But the main reason is b/c captain commando assist is to broken and everyone just abuses that shit for free and combine that shit with sentinel =the most scrubbiest combo in the game… You know people can talk that shit about Magnus but it takes skill and execution to play and win with magneto… Unlike flying and spitting all day and hoping that cap will cross u up out of the sky…

I don’t mind fighting an up hill battle, me playing a low tier person against a top tier character that by itself is hard enough… but when u combine all the glitches in the game, unexplained shit happening, people winning off of luck and thinking there actually good, and…seeing people win with the same 2 characters (Sent/Cap) over and over again with little or no effect… Now that just to much for me to handle…

A random scrub that just started playing MvC2 a few weeks ago told this to me when I asked him what made u play XXX/Sent/Cap? He replied, and Quote’’ Well I try learning Magnus but he just require to much work and execution, I saw Chris beat Johnny a few matches in a row by just flying around and calling out cap so I figured humm let me try that… after about 2 nights of practicing at home with the team and watching some YouTube matches, I realized that Storm/Sent/Cap was the most broken team on the game??.. He then starting laughing after I almost perfect him and said u know even though ur 10 times better then me I know ur struggling every game to avoid getting it by cap, and eventhough I’m losing I can play this team all day b/c eventually everyone loses against it…

Magnus= skill players (Yipes, Chris S, Soomighty…etc…etc)
Sentinel=people that can?t win with magnus (hummmm lets see?.. O yeah everyone else)

So I 'm done, post what u like… I will not reply to none of it…
I’m a Sf4 player now…

Is it because you recently started playing MSP and don’t have an assist that counters commando?

If you’re talking about the cr.lk cr.lk crap, SamB does it all the time and it’s not unblockable. If you’re talking about the shockwave, then it’s up to the opponent and whether or not he wants to stay in the wrong position for it to hit him. I do know that you’re not talking about S.Fp like elderGod said cause we all know that ain’t unblockable, and same with Storm’s s.FP.

oh but if you’re talking about that projectile DHC stuff then tons of people have that. uh oh!!! I see more destruction in Mag/IM/Sent’s future!!! Unblockable gb (that you can’t trade hits with like that other cheap you u use. . jk) DHC Proton Cannon DHC HSF!!!

Back on subject. Craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaakkkkkkkkkk!!! Can’t wait for good online play. Anyone know if taking the backround out of Marvel would make better online play? I wonder if it’s laggy, if taking the back round out would make it work better. . . . .

it is unblockable, samb is my brotha from anotha motha but hes doing it wrong if you can block it. i get it 100% of the time along with other people ive taught it to.

I showed it to everyone at evo2k8 and at seasons beatings, it is confirmed unblockable on sent and on several other characters, even on cable. There just isnt enough time to duck when landing.

Oh and yes Team combo has unblockable setups that happen in any team order that ill debut at fr =D.

ok. I’ll trust u guys tested out all the blocking possibilities and believe it for now. sry I am still skeptical tho. It just doesn’t make sense ya know? Magnetro’s explanation says it hits on both sides. . . really? Marvel is random sometimes but I don’t know any move that hits on both sides. Whatever, like I said, maybe u guys really tested it out a bunch.

as far as unblockable setups I was specifically referring to those projectile DHC unblockables since it looks like there’s gonna be now way outta those as of right now. I mentioned it cause Team Combo has disgusting DHC’s once the character get it. As you know, once a character is GB, if u have the supers, that character is dead. Ugh. Now people cant even trade hits like with that HK one u been using.

P.S. Assuming it is unblockable, y don’t u use it all the time? Infinite then reset with that again and again? at least on Sent and Cable?

Hate to say it, but I highly doubt they will be re-releasing this as the DC port.

Online play is gonna be garbage, even if it is the DC port. (theres no way it is)

And capcom wont care, cause 75% of the people that play it wont care.
