My hype for the characters died. Happy to see Thanos again and Jedah in there itās fucking nice. But, where are my fucking X-Men? Where is Doom? WHY IS ARTHUR THERE AGAIN? WHY NEMESIS OVER WESKER? IS VENOM AND BLACK PANTHER DLC NOW? WHERE ARE THE NETFLIX DEFENDERS?
This shit is going downhill, only the gameplay can keep me interested if this leak is real.

I like Ghost and Goblinsā¦ played a lot of it but they should gave both Firebrand and Arthur a break, their unconventional play style from MvC3 isnāt something that is exciting in MVCi.
There are more medieval and fantasy like characters in Capcom games or from Ghost and Goblins that deserves the slot like Astaroth or a Warzard/Red Earth characters.
Characters that summons assist is interesting for this game that have itās absence as a mechanic.
Asura should have been in. His a consistent to almost everyone.
Oh, I just realised that, if the leak is true, the only Power Stone in the game will be an easter egg during the activation of a gem. Itās sad.
And Asura is a way better counterpart to Hulk than any big bodies. Too bad he might not be in at launch.
Sam Nova is Richardās alt costume in UMvC3. The assets are already there.

Who actually owns the Asuraās Wrath IP? Iām under impression that Cyberconnect 2 owns at least part of it which is why we donāt see it used anywhere else.
By the by, while I am saddened at the potential loss of Wesker and his GLORIOUS HAMMINESS(CHRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS!), I always felt he didnāt have a unique powerset that shows well in this game. He wasnāt particularly flashy or interesting moveset-wise. Nemesisās bizarre hodgepodge of spacing, grappler, and big body is something I donāt think Iāve seen in other fighting games, most if not all character only ticking two of those three boxes.

Why the heck are people still expecting X-Men and FF characters in the base roster when weāve known for months that they would be DLC due to the Perlmutter situation?
Itās basically people saying that theyāll ignore reality for their own unrealistic expectations.
They are going to release DLC packs made up mostly of reused characters with a new character sprinkled in here and there. If I was going full fuck you mode to fans to make a buck off the franchise thatās what I would do so I canāt see them doing anything else if these rumors are true.

Why would they release any characters you want in the base roster when they can release them later as money making DLC? d3v and the gang will be good goyims and buy up every bit of it.

Strider is co-owned. Something like Capcom owns the IP, but Moto Kikaku owns the character design or something like that.
