They mentioned their is one more character on the Capcom side. The speculation is that it is Frank West.
Oh I forgot that part. I was wondering where the hell Frank was. He’s probably going to be one of the last characters revealed AGAIN.
They said Venom would be DLC for sure.

Okay Capcom, you have just under 4 months to impress me and most of the people here. Don’t fuck this up.
Because the base product has to have enough appealing content to make it a platform from which to viably sell DLC. Imagine if oil companies were in charge of selling cars; they’d want to make sure you got a car you at least wanted to drive so they could then keep selling you the fuel to keep driving it; if your car sucks too bad you won’t bother using it or buying more ‘DLC’ fuel. Same idea here.
This roster has me wary if it’s true. Very, very wary. “Will probably drop my preorder if it turns out to be the real roster” level wary.
I’m hyped and shocked that Firebrand made it in. He was my second most requested character to make into the Marvel Vs series and the last character I would of think to make it in to MvCI.
But Capcom has weird reasons why they chose certain characters. I remember reading that the reason why Firebrand made it to UMvC3 was because they wanted a Capcom character that can fly and the team chose Firebrand. I guess its the same reason for MvCI, but they don’t have to create a new gameplay style and just use Firebrand as recycled gameplay.
My most requested character is Tessa. Capcom better release her as a DLC, especially since its lacking female characters.
Roster is lackluster. Tbh though, my most wanted characters were X, sigma, hunter from MH, jedah and venom…I got em all 'cept for venom, who will eventually come as DLC.
Stoked as FUCK for the hunter.
I just want her to be well done and thought out, regardless of what she looks like. I can’t see Marvel or Capcom giving a crap about Combofiend’s opinions on character aesthetics though. He’s probably tapped for info on how he thinks the community will react to the mechanics of the game. If he had a significant say on what characters were included (doubtful), and wasn’t under any pressure to only use movie properties like he said (very doubtful), he needs to go sit in a corner and not be allowed to leave until he feels remorse for his actions. If he wants to throw a little self-flagellation in there too, power to him.
Yeah, well, someone ought to tell them that. Because if this roster is real then they don’t have a clue how to make an appealing base product.
It can’t be real, this would be the first time they vetoed their important rule of bodytypes. Come on now.
They’re not going to. Are you kidding me? The whole reason they’re releasing it in only 4 months is so that they can deliberately release in an unfinished state and then nickel and dime you with DLC add-ons.
If capcom gives us fetus of god stage with the fucking baby in the background then I will buy the deluxe edition.
