Marvel just needs to be the first Capcom game in a long time that doesn’t have a ton of QoL issues and a decent amount of single player content. If it can be its own thing in a good way that’ll be enough.

Balance issues aren’t QoL issues when Marvel’s involved. So just as long as it has singleplayer content it should be fine.

It’s already failing at quality of life by locking important characters out for paid DLC when the filters are going to be ready at launch.

I’m interested in seeing how the retooled Mission Mode will look. They said it won’t just be combos, but also a tutorial on how to use the specific characters. This could be very helpful for a lot players.

UMVC3 was the first game I completed 100% combo trials in, so I’m looking forward to doing it again.

Ggxrd tutorial is pretty good as it involved movement. Whilst I’ve heard that air movement is merged completely, I hope ground movement still stays as smooth as possible

You know, as I looked through the gameplay video for the 100th time, I realized that the counter switch is likely something that can be done at any point of the game assuming you have 2 meters. Most people just assumed it could only be done when DANGER appears because that’s when we saw it, but this leads me to believe otherwise.

Every single time someone with 1 meter is in the midst of eating a combo, they’re *automatically *locked out. This obviously isn’t counting cinematic supers or throw animations.

The moment they reach 2 meters, there’s no longer a lockout when they’re being hit with a combo.

Look at Hulk as he’s getting hit by Strider initially. Hawkeye is continuously being locked out, then it disappears altogether when Hulk gains 2 meters. Hulk’s nowhere near danger at this point.

Chris has Ultron in a combo, which locks Strider out at 1 meter. During the same combo, Ultron gains an additional meter and the lock out on Strider goes away. This is before the danger status appears.

If they’re locked out in the middle of a combo with 1 meter and **not **locked out with 2 meters, that pretty much implies they can Counter Switch at any point.

Also, take note of Strider’s meter when he does wall cling:
