I’d prefer both, but given the choice I’d rather see more characters, even if they have a similar playstyle to others.
Everyone I’ve seen make a big deal about balance in Marvel just ends up pulling their hair out so I would suggest keeping your hair.
Because, more often than not, character diversity comes at the cost of playstyle diversity. Capcom’s most balanced games tend to emphasize a smaller no. of playstyles compared to their more unbalanced ones.

The Final Round stream just mentioned that there will be a “preshow” before UMVC3 top 8.

Well, UMvC3 is starting/has been going and no announcement, so guessing pre-show was nothing.

I really hope we get something. There’s literally nothing to talk about with this game. We’ve exhausted pretty much every area at this point.
I’d take two more character reveals at this point, not even asking for extended gameplay or mechanics or gems or anything.
Hell, i’ll even take a promo art with silhouettes. At least then we can speculate about who the silhouettes are.
Seriously though, that was one of the fun things about MvC3 when it was coming out.
At this point even new moves from the already announced characters would be welcome.
Looking forward to the next two hours when SFV ends and there’s a special announcement from Capcom.

No reveals for anything at Final Round. Not even for SFV. They didn’t even stream the awards ceremony…puzzling…
I feel like Capcom takes increasingly longer to announce shit as time goes on. Remember the thirst for Alex, where they showed his trailer the day he came out, after the community had to datamine him?
I’m so thirsty. Hell, can they at least announce spiderman or some character we know will be in anyway?
Of course, right after I talk about RyanLV’s Chun/Morg/Jean team, he goes and wins Final Round

Well, Jean is only part of the problem here. Chun being able to keep away like she does, combined with Morrigan’s meter build really help give Jean the meter she needs, while at the same time, acting as a counter to ChrisG’s more traditional MorriDoom team.
