All Steam games have an option that allows users to opt in for beta testing, which usually means testing out patches or being able to play a beta of the game before it’s released and leave feedback to the devs. In this case I imagine it’s just to let people test out the net code for the Steam version and see if it needs patching or not. It’s nothing exciting.
I’m so thirsty for any news on this game already. Come on Capcom/marvel hnnnnnng. All I need is venom to be revealed. Id buy the game solely on the merit of having my team be X/Venom.
Capcom may make some questionable decisions sometimes, but they aren’t THAT bad…
I just hope there isn’t as much indecisiveness when it comes to the roster. Having 150 possible female choices for Ultimate and deciding on none of them tells me that they were thinking way too hard about it. Push comes to shove, just play rock-paper-scissors for spots and call it a day.
They wouldn’t do that. No, they couldn’t. This would be a bigger shitstorm than when Legends 3 was cancelled, except this time you’d have inner city marvelheads showing up at capcom’s door.
You mean Black Bolt? My guess is he appears in the story or something, but not playable. His powers (and their magnitude) seem too hard to incorporate design-wise. I could be wrong though, since I would have said similar things about some of the characters that made it into MVC3.
Should be easy for Marvel to again reign supreme. Although SFV has pulled record numbers for any fighter at tournaments, Marvel Infinite seems like it will be much better produced and bring in that causal crowd that’s important to help rally more players into the competitive base. Especially with SFV still having elementary coding errors and glitches that make it unfriendly for casuals and hardcore alike, a well produced Marvel game will have the functionality and IP star power to overtake V causally and maybe even competitively.
Probably not competitively since Marvel is a mainstream kusoge game and not everyone can handle how breakneck and disrespectful/random/variable the rules are in Marvel. You have to be a cheap old man to win in Marvel and there aren’t a lot of cheap old men
