Injustice 2’s release is practically around the corner, while Marvel vs Capcom infinite won’t be coming until probably the end of the year. Or the third quarter if we’re lucky.

Hell, we had to wait months for new info last time too. We had to wait for the E3 of that year after the original announcement in April.

Do you guys think they should follow the SFV ways? Some new characters through the year or all of them at the same time once a year? If they do seasons, would you like if they didn’t reveal the characters?

I mean bi-monthly character releases isn’t exactly a bad idea when the initial title is actually finished, but that would require MVC:I to launch in a proper state, which I highly doubt to be honest

Even if it’s bi-monthly, they will have to release 2 characters at a time. They have a lot of work ahead.
I think the game is pretty much done, with only some polishing on balance, graphics and animations left, and a team is just working on dlc characters so they can have time between releasing a batch while working on the next. They did with SFV. While season 1 characters were being released, they were working on season 2.

what gives you this impression? They weren’t even set on a control scheme in December, this game is far from being “pretty much done”.

Injustice had a good couple months period or longer of near silence as well. Don’t see what the problem is.

And one day they were playing and came to the conclusion it would be better to limit air dashes, they went out to eat something, and when they got back, a guy already had removed airdashes from some characters.
That’s what I meant. The heavy work are already finished.

Depends how marvel plays it. Them showing restraint on revealing the line tells me they are keeping MvCI the game into consideration, or they could just not be ready yet who knows.

It’s the steam database for UMvC3. In the ‘packages’ section, there is one named ‘owl for beta testing’.

Can anyone please clarify what this is ? The dreamer in me hopes this is maybe something regarding a potential MvCi beta related, but idk anything regarding steam games.
