One thing I gotta say, Morrigan better be like her old MVC incarnations. By that I mean no more of that split into two and shoot fireballs forever crap.
I want her to have Soul Eraser back, and give her Eternal Slumber as her level 3.
Both these supers are way cooler than just splitting herself into two or firing a bunch of lame missiles.

On the one hand, Polygon said not to expect any mutant characters.
On the other hand, Lupinko was dropping X-Men teases on his twitter at one point during this whole Marvel 4 fiasco.

I agree, some of them would be cool. But Kamala is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too politicized. Keep Marvel’s student politics out of this game, and by that I mean her.
I don’t wanna see Kamala, or Fem-Thor, or non-binary demiqueer black transvestite foxkin Spider-person. First sign of that, game goes into the toilet.
Can any other characters replace X-Men at all?
I mean, MVC3 only had Sentinel, Magneto, Storm, Wolverine, X-23, and Phoenix, which isn’t even that big of a part of the roster
Relax, I really don’t think there’s any way they’re getting rid of the X-Men. This whole game series started with the X-Men. It’s not MVC without them.
If it was up to Capcom I think Wolverine and Magneto would be locks but if Marvel are 100% on their no X Men policy it may be out of their control.
If it’s any reliable I got at least Asura, Edward Falcon and Hunter. And I see I’m not the only one that thinks Zero will be replaced by other characters from the franchise.
Zero not being in would be a blessing from the marvel gods. That character will always be an annoying little shit.

Some of these were added to the game last year. If Marvel and FOX had disputes over X-Men, then these characters would either disappear from the game entirely or there would be no additions to the roster (since most of these were there from the beginning, in like 2013-2014)
In that case Capcom could just put their foot down and refuse to make the game. But that would require them to have integrity and we know that’s not happening.

Exactly. 100% Top Tier Success rate. Not just Top Tier either, he was broken in SVC, arguably broken in TVC, and borderline broken in MVC3.
There is no dispute or legal issue, so no hero removal or anything like this, Marvel just don’t wanna promote the X-men and FF. Any X-men or FF released after the ban were already on the contract.
