Well the main thing I liked about those games was having the 6 normals so you had access to a lot of buttons in neutral. MVC2/3 shortened the amount of buttons you could use, but it was offset by your new neutral options like 2 assists, snapbacks, DHCâs, THCâs and the new tag options and just the general sandbox you get from 3 characters actively switching and affecting a team. The quirky ways supers worked in MVC3 allowed THCâs to go from the scrub thing that no one uses in MVC2, to very unique super combinations that literally helped defined the meta in Marvel 3. They were the Storm hail and AHVB of MVC3.
If itâs simple like TvC with one assist and generic air dash forwards for every character, Iâm out like a light. It would a travesty to have the crack that is Marvel 3 (essentially easier to pick up Marvel 2 with MVC1 levels of brokeness) and Marvel 2 slowed down to TvC2. Just canât go for that.

Either way doesnât matter because people created fake pictures for UMVC3 also and that became real. Theyâre basically free endorsements and hype setters.
If you want to get technical in that direction, the only assist is colossus because he actually beats out psylocke.

I donât believe the no X-Men thing. By not putting any X-men in the game theyâre already doing something drastically different because X-Men characters were the face of MVC in a lot of peopleâs eyes.

Might as well have a game known for making the impossible possible a chance for them to return. Characters on both Marvel and Capcom side were doom and gloomed for returning, but made it.
