They can probably reuse a lot of Felicia’s assests from MvC3.
Pyron would be one of Capcom’s closest to Marvel level power, and if Pyron, Bison, Sigma, and Wesker/Nemesis got in Capcom would be looking pretty good for villains.
Rikuo and Sasquatch are just fun.
Sea Rage/Ocean Rage would be a sight to see in 3D.
Pyron could be rivals with Thanos, I like the idea of Sasquatch vs Groot or Sasquatch vs Hulk, Rikuo vs Shuma-Gorath, Morrigan vs Dr Strange, and Felicia vs X-23 if she were to make it.
Anakaris might be a bit hard to animate, but if they can do Shuma Gorath in 3 then Anakaris shouldn’t be a problem. The only Darkstalker who actually might be too much is Pyron, since Human Torch got canned from Marvel 3 for memory issues and Pyron is basically a living fireball.
That said, I’m honestly expecting another Darkstalkers female (B.B. Hood or Hsien-Ko) and someone who hasn’t been in the series yet (Donovan or Jon Talbain).
Phobos is a bit of a weird one. His moveset could transition nicely, but a lot of people would see him a really random choice as he was only a regular character in Vampire Hunter and Vampire Hunter 2. Even among Darkstalkers fans, he has one of the smallest followings because of this. In fact, seeing him in before Jon Talbain, B.B. Hood, Hsien-Ko, Donovan, Felicia, and Anakaris might even piss off a few people.
Vile + Cyber Akuma should be fine on the Capcom side if we need villains who Sigma can control.
I’m probably one of the few people who would like to see newcomers to the roster but taking characters from the same series
E.g. Nero and Lary instead of Trish, Dante and Vergil
Ada and Leon instead of Wesker, Jill and Chris
Demitri and Talbain instead of Morrigan, Hisen-Ko and Felicia
Rashid and Guy instead of Akuma, Chun-Li and Viper
I’d like Capcom to come up with a completel updated roster. Megaman X and Captain Marvel are already a good start to that
We’re getting Chun-Li. If Morrigan made it, Chun definitely will. Fun note: Every MvC game has had at least 3 Street Fighters, 2 of which were Ryu and Chun. MvC1 had Gief, MvC2 was most of Alpha 2/3, and MvC3 had Akuma and Viper. The real question is who they want to go with.
-Bison is a very obvious choice
-Rashid promotes SFV
-Alex was in TvC, so don’t count him out
-Viper is a natural fit for Marvel
-Juri, Decapre, and Nash could all work in the right circumstances
