MvC3 had a similar news drought after its announcement. If I’m correct the game was announced in February of 2010 & we didn’t hear more until April or May.
MVC3 was actually announced at Capcom’s Captivate event in April 2010.
But yeah, outside of the initial trailer and artwork, we didn’t get any other news till E3.
I’m still surprised they haven’t shown any artwork for Infinite.
We didn’t get much artwork for MvC3 at first either, besides the one where Wolverine and Ryu were staring each other down that had all the silhouettes behind them.
I’m not really sure but I haven’t seen any new media for x men aside from the movies, is the x men request just our generation nostalgia? Espcially from that 90’s show(people asking for gambit who’s been almost irrelevant for decades ) .Outside of Wolverine , would most 13-17 year olds really care about no xmen?

I don’t see how they could make Leon any fun in this game, being the RE4 icon that he is just isn’t merit enough for me. Although Resident Evil 4 was an amazing game, I don’t think he should be in the game if the can’t offer anything new to Marvel. They can’t give him super powers like Jill or Wesker, Jill in MvC2 already covered that 2 in 1 offensive zoner play style, and Chris Redfield showed us what the RE weapon arsenal can do in Marvel 3, so what’s left for Leon? Nemesis already covered the RE monster archetype too. Jill and Wesker need to return for sure for obvious reasons, but if they do add two new RE characters, I really hope they’re good ones. I’m sure Ada could be good, she’s waifu material, and has tricks up her sleeve, but then again… sigh*
They will just make him play like Chris and call it a day.
Leon’s style would probably revolve around finesse and the knife moreso than guns and grenades like Chris.
Leon would probably be more of a kicker, knifer and dual gun action than full military arsenal like Chris.
Maybe they implement Ada as an assist since she is a defacto assist for him in all the Biohazards they have been together.
