Thanos got revealed as the villain of the whole Infinity arc in the first Avengers movie, 5 years ago, probably not a huge spoiler now.
It’s a T-rated game, they’ll probably compromise by giving him brutal looking moves that don’t draw blood. Kinda like how Cammy snaps your neck for her 2nd ultra and certain bladed characters bloodlessly impale and stab each other.
If he’s in the game. Though if Frank and Shocker are in the game, i wonder if they would have Shocker reference the time he beat him when facing off.
Or they’ll just stick to weapons for him. After all, we had several gun users last time.
Put Helen in Mahvel
Strider is like Capcom’s punisher. I’ve read some of his mangas, and he murders his targets. One comic had him decapitate a soldier.
Maybe Punisher is a better pair for Strider than Spider-man due to their anti-heroish attitude?
I dunno, just being an anti-hero doesn’t make you just like the Punisher.
But he is still the big purple guy. Nobody knows his motivations and stuff.

True, but I’m thinking about throws and such. I can easily see him having a similar throw to BB Hood’s throat slash. Also, like Cable, I think they’d be willing to give him some moves other than just guns for the sake of variety. Can see him having a knife special and some form of close combat special, though would be funny if they gave him a few moves from the Punisher arcade game; flip kick, roundhouse slash, jumping slam, giant swing or that Izuna drop thing hah.
With Storm and Wolverine, i want it to be true though.

I see what you mean, but Wolverine isn’t the best example to use. Him and Frank have had dark views of the world, and operated in ways that embrace the death and violence aspect of “cleaning up the streets”. It’s not even just that Wolverine kills, it’s also that throughout his life he’s embraced vengeance, torture and darker means at getting the job done. He has though, had moments where he’s tried to tame the wild beast within, but there was that struggle to resist that turning of turmoil into bloody death. There was a reason Punisher and Wolverine joined in on the action in Hearts of Darkness.
I lowkey hope Ken & Akuma get in as DLC vs what could be Marvel’s own shotos in the form of Miles & Spider-Gwen. They’re all fan favorites who wouldn’t require that much work if they’re shotos, so it’s not like they’d take up spots from more unique characters.
Just Illustrating that brutalizing people doesn’t make him like the Punisher. Only a badly written Wolverine is used as a savage killing machine. There’s a lot of nuance to Logan that the Punisher doesn’t have. Logan didn’t give up on life like Frank, Logan tries to redeem people who he feels can be helped, he’s a person that lives to atone for all the bad things he did in his life. Moon Knight is another brutal anti-hero and he’s nothing like Frank neither.
