If Fou-lu get in, and his transformation super drained meter instead of having a timer, to mirror how it worked on his game, would it be too good? Have any other transformation super worked like that before?
Disney never been the type of company that micromanages their subsidiary. They will normally let their companies do their thing. The only thing Disney needs to do with Marvel is boot Ike. He’s been a detriment to Marvel for years.
As long as Ike helps to keep its shareholders satisfied, Disney has no reason to drop him. Sad (probably not that much) but true, in the large-scale what matters is if the company is profitable and big Disney executives don’t care that much if Wolverine or Doctor Doom can’t appear in Marvel movies.
Merchandise is way bigger than just films; sure the films are profitable, but it’s nothing compared to the hundreds of millions Spider-Man alone brings them.
Actually, Infinity was ended because they lost money by overestimating demand and coming out at the wrong time when the “toys to life” craze was already saturated. They ended up having too much stock and were losing money on stuff that wasn’t being sold.
I have to be honest, the people from asia are smart for collecting those toys and merchandise. That is like potential huge cash for the person as time goes on. My friends dad gave him one of his old darth vader action figure dating back at the early 80’s and he managed to sell that shit for almost $5k.
I heard it was because of the Marvel characters. Characters like Yondu pegwarmed & Marvel forced Disney to overproduce on certain characters like Hulk.
It’s way more complicated then that. Stuff wasn’t selling simply because Infinity was such a clusterfuck to get into compared to its competition (Skylanders, etc.). The different monetization schemes and stuff you had to invest to to fully enjoy Infinity turned off a lot of potential customers.
