Phoenix Wright needs his bad evidence to be removed. The incentive for collecting different pieces should be the different projectiles they give you. Maybe improve some of his normals too, I’m not familiar enough with him to point out specifics though.
I’d like to see Spider-Man revisited. He had a rather weird identity in previous titles and I always wanted him to have two features added to his design somehow: wall-crawling and spider-sense. He’s known for doing 3 things, yet only one ever gets represented (his web stuff).
Maybe it’s time we just put in some good characters and then see if we have room for PW. It is time that his supporters back in the MVC3 polls accept that they were told so and he was a wasted slot.
That being said, and you can just chalk this up to me being bored due to information starvation on this and Injustice 2, as well as having WAY too much time on my hands due to being snowed in, but I remembered his Tweet about the Heroes & Heralds Characters potentially becoming playable, so I took ALL the little hints and Tweets, pulled up the Deck and found this:
Capcom:
Mega Man X (Confirmed)
Lord Raptor (Hinted at by Ryce as the Hard-To-Animate new Capcom Villain)
Sasquatch
Roll
Leon S. Kennedy
Dr. Wily
BoF Character (Ryu, Lin, Nina, Myria or Fou-Lu
Akira Kazama
Marvel:
Captain Marvel (Confirmed and has a Card as Ms. Marvel)
Utron
Fin Fang Foom
Luke Cage
Punisher
Thanos
That’s 12 cards that are heavily implied to possibly become characters, on top of two that have definitely made the jump, even if their inclusion wouldn’t solely be tied to that, since there’s plenty of other reasons that they’re in. Throw in Daredevil, Loki, Black Widow, Black Panther and a Spider-Man villain, (Anti-Venom, Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus, who Niitsuma recently Tweeted was far enough in development for MVC3 to have Character Art drawn and a Theme composed) and you get 18-20. Any way you slice it, that’s a LOT, and is the thing that kinda ties all of this together for me personally. No way you hit THAT many without knowing SOMETHING, unless you just blatantly went the list and picked out popular characters, and even then, there’s a TON of Darkstalkers Cards, 3 Rival Schools Cards and several Resident Evil cards, to apparently be hinting at those names specifically. Just seems WAY too good to be a mere random coincidence, IMO. Could be nothing, but still an interesting bit of trivia regardless.
Sasquatch would be an interesting pick. It seems like something Capcom would do, people want the likes of Demitri & Felicia but they go with goofy ass Sasquatch. Maybe Sasquatch could be paired up with Groot.
I think a counter special move or a hyper counter would be great for Spidey. Wesker and Taskmaster have both as well. Wesker’s got nerfed to shit, though. It’s pretty easy to forget Rhino Charge even exists.
I’d actually like to see him with a Lvl3 this time around.
I don’t think Ryce knows the whole roster yet, he’s made posts in the past saying he was just speculating on certain characters. So Sasquatch could still make it, he’s just not the specific character Ryce was talking about. I don’t think Sasquatch is a villain anyway, so that should’ve been obvious to that dude on Gaf lol.
I’ll admit, my hopes for Raptor is partially because I really want him but he’s definitely one of the more likely candidates.
For She-Hulk I’d give her more attacks where she pulls objects out of nowhere to use as weapons, like cars, mailboxes and lamp posts.
I’d also give her better supers, like causing a shockwave with a stomp or swinging a giant stone pillar around rapidly. The supers she had in MVC3 were pretty lame.
I’d be down for this, as much as I liked Brock in MvC, I always felt that he could have had more in his toolbox
Holy crap, yes! I remember a MUGEN Spidey had a spider sense counter, one had a photography super, but both had fun elements Capcom left out of Spidey. Would like a few new tricks for this game.
