I meant fang as an analogy to the character model dimension. Fangs hurtbox is tall but not beefy like Alex or birdie; that’s what I meant. Though I do picture sigma as a character with long normals akin to fang or Alex.
Howard the Duck is looking like the obscure Marvel character to bet on. He has been making cameos in numerous comic titles lately and even showed up at the end of the GotG movie. Plus, his moveset will give Capcom a good challenge like Phoenix Wright did. A Nova/Howard or RR/Howard combo sounds legit.
Juggernaut is pointless without the power up glitch.
I believe you mean Michael Evans, Niitsuma has nothing to do with this game. Of course, this likely means any comments he had on characters in MvC3 likely don’t apply any more, especially since the development teams are different - 8ing has nothing to do with MvC:I.
I’d love for a Strange that straight up traps his opponents in blockstun like classic trap characters such as Morrigan, Spiral or Strider.
As for redesign, we all know he’s going to look more like his MCU version if he makes it it.
For starters, Iron Fist has always been pretty popular with comic readers.
He is the second best martial artist in the Marvel Universe (Gamora is the first) and on power levels, he is superior to Daredevil in every way, which is another popular street Marvel superhero and martial artist.
An Avenger, Hero for Hire and he has a highly anticipated TV series coming up.
Iron Fist is pretty much a lock and I’m glad.
He was fun and had potential in MvC3 with his TOD. Just need a few tweaks and he will be a very solid choice this time for high level play.
I would love for him to change between his light saber and jolts attacks from Megaman X 1 and 5, his giant scythe from Megaman X 4 and his giant mech armor from Megaman X 3. Maybe even his pet panther if memory allows.
He has plenty of potential for deep gameplay if done right.
Calling him a lock at this point in time feels overly optimistic to me. There are so many options to pull from.
I wouldn’t have a problem with him coming back, but he would need some serious overhaul to be worth it. Then again, depending on the new mechanics of the game, maybe his issues will fix themselves.
Well honestly as it seems that super jumps aren’t quite as high and he doesn’t have to worry about assists messing up his advance with just a little tweeking Iron Fist could
make sense with his old moveset in this version. It’s not like he has to get past psionic blaster while I’m raining hidden missiles with a shield up anymore. The lack of assists
will change things a good deal. (Also why I’m not looking forward to MODOK in this game if he’s in without a major overhaul. )
Considering they are using a lot of the same animations I’d agree Iron Fist is a lock. I mean not only do animations and moveset already exist for him but he is getting his own Netflix show this year.
DLC means eventually anyone and everyone can get in but the initial launch roster, Iron Fist I agree is a lock.
For Infinite, all I ask is he gets a real low and the ability to heal himself with Chi. I always thought Iron Fist was a cool character in Ultimate. Just not enough to handle most of the stuff there.
