This is the time when she beat Dee the Donovan turned Vampire in the Vampire Savior. Since she is able to manipulate and move object via her mind there are already alot of characters that can be used as her Inspiration together with Donovan. She is in her powerful form during her adult side that did take down Dee and even Jedah sees her as a threat.
She could have Donovan as her summon/esper/stand/persona, like a Spirit Guardian or whatever you anyone to used to call it. Her adult form that encounters Dee makes her look like those fighters based on “tohou” games which is nice to see in a versus series making it look like a culture clash or anime vs marvel.
She is also known for her crossover appearance as a special partner in the first Marvel vs Capcom
But that is not her first crossover to marvel universer because she is a hidden character along with Dr Doom and Thanos in Marvel superheroes that is able to summon Akuma and Mei Ling.

I’m thinking Street Fighter & Mega Man will get special treatment for the roster since 2017 is the 30th anniversary for both series. Also, Capcom seems to remember Mega Man exists & can make them money now.
I think Capcom would make an out there Marvel pick besides Howard (like how 3 had Rocket & MODOK), but I’m not sure who it’d be so I didn’t try to guess. Maybe they’d settle for Groot since he has an interesting design/moveset potential despite being well known now.
The lack of Fou-lu in the poll thread worries me. At least there’s some BOF love.
Arcade is my pick. He’s like the Joker + Riddler, so imagine his over the top gadgets in a Marvel game.
Groot can play just like Nemesis, with Rocket firing Nemesis’ bazooka.
I’d be disappointed if Rocket & Groot were a duo tbh. They’re unique enough where they could make great solo characters.
A good starting point is CES, for example Haggar and Phoenix were announced at CES Thursday Jan 6th 2011 for MvC3, the game of course launched the following month February 2011, MvC3 was announced April 2010 obviously they were working on it before then but from announce date to launch was less than a year so its not hard to believe MvCI will release within a year.

Also MvC3 similar to SFV had characters announced once a month until launch at events. Keep an eye on San Diego Comic-Con, New York Comic-Con, Tokyo Game Show, ect.
I can see Murderworld being a stage in the game. I don’t think Arcade can work as a character.
I think Rolento could be very fun in a Mahvel game. I doubt Capcom would ever pick him though, there’s more “important”/popular Street Fighter/Final Fight characters sadly.
If you think of the Marvel Cinematic Universe there isn’t that many notable female characters which I think may give us a hint to who will appear.
For anyone who saw Ant-Man I think a no brainer in MVCI will be Wasp instead of Ant-Man.
First of all many people are already familiar with Ant-Man by now but Marvel will want to add Janet van Dyne because she is going to be a bigger part of the MCU going forward in order to get audiences familiar with her. Plus shes one of the few MCU female characters.
Black Widow and Scarlet Witch are the other two obvious ones, UMVC3 had only four female Marvel characters and three of them were X-Men. MVCI will no doubt have more. I know many people expect Guardians of the Galaxy to be well represented in Infinite but most lists I see have Star-Lord, Groot and/or Rocket. I think Infinite will hit us with a curve and put in Gamora OR Nebula, so maybe Star-Lord, Rocket and Nebula but I don’t think more than 3 GotG get in.
I believe many who think Gwenpool will be included have the right idea, they will substitute Deadpool in for Gwenpool that way they get another whacky popular character similar to Deadpool.

I’m probably leaning too much on the MCU, they might sneak some X-Men/surprises in the launch roster. At least I hope we don’t gotta wait for DLC to see any X-Men. Its one thing if they have Storm, Wolverine and Magneto for launch roster then Cyclops, Psylocke, Omega Red as DLC pack but zero X-Men at launch will be rough.
Season 1 DLC characters spanned eight months I think.
The Wasp in MCU is Hope not Janet. If Marvel wants to add Wasp to roster to appeal to MCU fans then Hope is the one they need to use. I don’t know they’ll make her character work as her whole shtick is shrinking down and flying around shooting lasers.
I hope Scarlet Witch makes it in as she would be a good magic rep and potential zoner for the game. Though Marvel has been treating the twins in the same matter as the X-Men even though they can use them in the MCU.
My bad I saw Ant-Man movie too, I completely forgot the entire plot, haha.
I don’t think shrinking is as big of a deal as most people, they would just make her Hitbox larger than how she appears and of course highlight her in some way with a magnifying effect. A spotlight, bubble or just plain circle around her magnifying her and the surrounding area so she appears the size of Rocket Raccoon from UMVC3.

Consist of Character themes that tribute and parody of some franchises like Godzilla, Terminator, The Mask, Robocop, Starwars, Anime, Touhou, Tokusatsu and Journey to the west. Characters have variants in weapons not just all about swords and guns. It’s like the rise of the machine, culture crash, east meets west, cartoons vs anime and rise of the machine like stories from background and origins, team and affiliation that is 28 per side total.
I focus the reality and space conflict more into Capcom side not on Marvel side to make it appear that it was the Marvel side that invaded, invited, collide and to explore the Capcom side. This would gain more control and flexibility on Capcom’s side that is less complicated than broad and vague Marvel side. Conflicts revolves from mystic, cosmic and tech that deals with cybernetics and the confusion, switcheroo and mistaken of magical stones, crystal and gems of their universe. Since Marvel have establish already teams and categorization like Xmen, Avengers, Marvel Knights and Guardians of the Galaxy.
