Power Stone was my Smash before Melee came out. I had too much fun playing that game. I’m just surprised we never saw a representative in ANY vs game. Also, what happened to the talk about Capcom using this game to “revive dead/dormant franchises”? So far the only newly represented franchise is MH, which is not dead or dormant…

Sigma is clearly the “last boss” if one will. His current role in the story is minor and there has to be some kind of twist coming up involving him as he’s only truly relevant pre convergence.
In comparison Venom’s early release makes total sense, he has to have involvement with Jedah to create the Symbiote and that’s quite a large story point in obtaining the stones and defeating Ultron Sigma.
I’m predicting a Story Mode Part 2.

Sure, Jedah was long overdue, but Darkstalkers in general are not new to Marvel. That’s what I mean. Monster Hunter is the only brand that wasn’t represented in the last Marvel, and that game is basically the Elder Scrolls of Japan so there’s nothing surprising about that inclusion.
In regards to the Jin request I think it is just because the character is just fun as fuck. Nigga just slugs for no reason and his blodia hyper is still one of the hypest things. Plus he has his taunt which is hilarious. But yeah Jin is just fun as fuck. Also his standing Heavy sounds like he is saying suck ass. Don’t forget his golden Freeza transformation either.

Jedah’s prominence does make me think Capcom is looking at a new Darkstalkers though. They took an obscure boss character as the Capcom side’s launch villain over someone like Wesker, who would be easier to do and is better known among casuals.
Because I want to tag into a good anti-air, the reality stone xx tag out of there.

Lmfao. Thinking on it now, knowing Ono, he was probably just trolling us with that trailer. Because what we learn from Jedah in MvCi story mode is that the realm of the Darkstalkers is where “heroes never truly die.” So it is true what Ono said, Darkstalkers are not dead, because they never truly die. He never said anything about a new game, simply stated a fictional fact lol. It’s like saying “Ryu is on a new journey.” Lol.
With this game’s roster, I really miss the diversity of (U)MvC3’s roster, sure there are a fair amount of midgets (X, Raccoon, Arthur, Zero) and a few big bodies (Hulk, Nemesis).
But having characters like an animal (Ammy) or even weirder (M.O.D.O.K.) made it so fun and truly crossover crazy. Compared to that Infinite feels so typically humanoid.
I would really like to see something crazy added like Phantom from Devil May Cry (hitboxes be damned, just look at Dante’s jumping LP lol)
Besides that the lack of villains and females is alarming (at least there are two more on the way for the latter and I’m usually a person that doesn’t even care about female representation)

What bothers me more is the lack of racial diversity in these games or games in general. I’m black but I wanna see more brothas (blade spike etc) Mexican or Hispanic fighters etc. I would rather see more racially diverse cast. Especially with games like this when some people don’t know about a lot of franchises you could easily pull characters from many different backgrounds that people may not have heard of and make them fans of those games or franchises. Yeah there should probably be more female representation but let’s get some more ethnicity in the games.
I don’t want characters that wouldn’t bring anything new to the game just because he/she is black/mexican.
But considering Marvel’s recent SJW agenda in the comics, I’m surprised with the lack of diversity in the game.
