Spencer might’ve been a bit more exciting if he had a better design. Not only did they use that awful 2009 design but he’s the ugliest character in the game too lol
Venom & Hunter are launch roster, I guarantee it. They’ll be the last reveals to try to generate some last minute hype.
Capcom confirmed Meio is just a NPC at SDCC.
The guys over at Gaf think Lady is coming. Her main weapon was apart of Dante’s moveset in MvC3, but it’s mysteriously missing now. She’d have a pretty great moveset too.
Green Goblin was hinted at during SDCC too. One of the Marvel Games guy mentioned the Pumpkin Bombs in Spidey’s level 3. He then said “Where’s Green Goblin at? Stay tuned!”

Also I just realized this. It sounds like Doc Ock was pretty close to completion in MVC3. Couldn’t they have dug up his assets to see if he’d have worked better in this game & on more advanced hardware?
Honestly, X is the most exciting reveal. Jedah is awesome, but X has never had his shot in a proper fighting game. Can’t wait to really crack his kit open.
Least exciting was a tie between Spencer and Zero. I would have preferred literally any other returning characters to the edgelord twins.
I’m down for that function. Hoping for some if his functions with some Sabre tooth functions thrown in with new properties. Sides I need someone to help Nemesis get in until another black guy shows up. If the new Runaways show does well and they’re still supporting maybe I’ll get my dream character Alex Wilder.
Well technically Falcon is a thing, could be an interesting playstyle despite the fact that I never liked the character. Alex Wilder is going to be on TV for Marvels runaways. Luke Cage? Meh, although they are doubling down on the whole street level NY series, but who are we kidding? They’re likely just going to keep chucking MVCU characters at us all day.
Every Mahvel character is black. Just ask Fanatiq. Magenegro was the face of the game for 17 years. And for ten of those, he was accompanied by Beyonzo and Sentijamal. And that one gun carrying dude who’s story is basically both his parents leaving him while they went “out to get cigarettes”.
The only wypipo in Mahvel are Dante and Vergil. And Wesker, which is why he disappeared from the meta once his whiteness was discovered. Dante and Vergil haven’t gone down because they actually mixed race, possibly hispanic. They daddy Sparda crossed the border and got it with a white chick.
Bullshit and Fanatiq is not the authority on what’s black. It’s sad that he had to adopt a white jewish guy because there’s no other black characters LOL! Black carding bullshit. I know the jokes. So BACK to Nemesis, wait, noone was talking about Nemesis. So apparently he has Rocket Loops? Kind of saddened that he doesn’t have Hyper armor on punch rush,
Olaf describes the armor as light armor, does that mean it tanks everything but heavy?
That’s what theyve been saying about the armor. It’s similar to older Marvel armor where light confirms are tough to use on the armor. They’ll be forced to use heavies to get through your armor immediately

After hearing the arguments I’d easily concede to the Indian bit since when has Capcom ever created a black character that wasn’t some hard black stereotype?
