Marvel has so little black characters that the odds of them being shoveled to DLC are pretty much guaranteed. It’s hard to get waifus in this game (Captain Marvel may be the only new Marvel property waifu in this game for a while), but they’re still far less of a minority than the brothers and sistas.
Marvel’s the company with the best selection of black characters IMO. Well mostly black dudes, they need more black ladies (who are original characters).
Ones that could work in a Mahvel game are Black Panther, Storm (duh lmao), Luke Cage, War Machine, Blade, Falcon, Monica Rambeau, Brother Voodoo, Misty Knight, Deathlok, Bishop, Blue Marvel, Nick Fury, Night Thrasher, Miles Spidey & Patriot (Elijah).
There’s also Goliath, Cloak, Man-Ape, Prowler & Cotton Mouth. But couldn’t see them being too interesting gameplay, or in Goliath/Cloak’s case working in a fighting game.
I also ignored all the new crappy ones like Riri Iron Heart, the new Patriot, etc… Those lame asses can go away forever.
I don’t expect a lot of those characters to get in since they’re either not big enough or not flashy enough, but if Marvel/Capcom wanted to they could make them work.
I want Storm, Luke, Monica & Blade the most.
Most of those characters are ho hum to me. I don’t pay attention to any other comic companies so if Marvels is the best then meh.
Just bring in Spawn as a guest star so I can grab some vaseline.

That Marvel roster would be nuts. Look at all dem nigs. I didn’t even know who The Magus was until I saw this picture. Looks like he’s about as powerful of a villain as Thanos.
Magus is just an Evil Ryu version of Adam Warlock though.
Yeah reading his story that’s what it seems like. I was watching some playthrough of War of the Gems on the SNES and was expecting to see Thanos, but the only big boss guy they talk about is The Magus and I’m like “oookay”. Since it’s Marvel it’s like what would happen if Ryu and E.Ryu were 2 different beings that existed at the same time since he was created by altering reality or some shit. Good old Marvel.
The game is obviously inspired by the arcade fighter Marvel Super Heroes. You fight Dr.Doom like 2 times and he has air photon shot, a one footed dive kick and plasma beam. Blackheart can teleport into the ground and has his little goons also.
Usually when Cloak is suggested by fans or devs it’s as a package deal with Dagger.
The real problem with Goliath, is that if they were going to pick a Size Shifter, it would probably be Ant-Man or The Wasp.
Blue Marvel would be really cool for a fighting game though.

Based on the ending of GotG vol.2, we can expect to see some mention of Magus/Adam Warlock in the Infinity War movie. If that means there’s a possibility he’s planned as dlc, I can guarantee he will be designed like Phoenix…do we want that?

That means Jedah is DLC. I think it will be Jedah/Venom being the two masters of metamorphosis. Although, Jedah does also fall under that rule that all DLC characters will be new to the series, same as Hunter.
if you’re going by the datamine leak then you are forgetting ghost rider. and marvel will be short one character from capcoms 16. jedah is day one.
