Its a “leak” from neogaf posters and on top of that capcom said that they werent “going to completely throw away the past of the franchise” so take that for what its worth.
To me it sounds like marvel went in there going “MCU ONLY” and capcoms the omes trying to fight to bring back classic mvc characters and marvel is grudgingly allowing it. Remember, capcom is why there was sentinel and shuma in mvc3 and they wanted cable but marvel screamed NO DEAD CHARACTERS

Just give me a version of Ryu Storm and Cyclops that plays like XSF, Cable, Cap Commando playing like MVC2 and 1 respectively, and I wouldn’t mind seeing Juri, and Iron Heart and Wolverine from any game before MVC2.

Strider/Spider-man
- Capcom side always lack villains
- Easy to make sword normals
- Ice moves, and ice characters are also lacking in a lot of medias
- Won-qu moves, like Maya.
- Transformation super
- Level 3 only available after transformation. He turns into Tyrant and shit.
- Adding him instead of Ryu would avoid confusion with SF Ryu, but he would still turn into a dragon, which is the franchise’s thing

I’d say there is almost no chance of any Agents of Shield characters. Future Fight is limited in the characters they can use (no Mutants, Fantastic Four… hell they don’t even have Scarlet Witch yet) so I wouldn’t say their inclusion in that game is any indication that they will be included in this one.
Breath of Fire has a lot of cool characters that Capcom could use. Would be dope as fuck if any of them get in.
Strider/spiderman makes sense…but they waited hella long to reveal spiderman for mvc3. They might cocktease us again
Agents of Shield is 4 seasons deep and it’s Marvel only TV show on network tv. Quake is the only character on that show that has any chance of being a playable character anyway.
please bring back Rogue and give her back her stolen move set, not that lazy ass power up/speed up buff from mvc2.

Agree! because his origin story make him an other half of Ryu in BOF universe. it could end up him being misplaced in this universe and confuse BOF’s Ryu to SF’s Ryu. Other iconic character in BOF series possible is Nina, for being a recurring playable character in every BOF game. Both BOF characters could have plot related to reality gem or soul gem,
The best Ryu is MVC and UMVC3 in the rest marvel crossover Ryu is only worth it because of the game’s infinite combos which won’t be ni MVCi.
Getting a Onimusha remaster will be difficult. Onimusha 1-3 used the likeness of actors for their characters. Sorting out those kind of legal issues for a re-release won’t be worth it. Capcom would be better off remaking the games.
