I played MvC2 with good players you know? Before CTF closed. A couple of randoms I could never catch the name of, and the occasional yipes/sanford and held my own. I doubt your any good, simply by what you are saying in this post, no sane player would ever post this false knowledge.
Oh i see. I guess i quoted some very well known veteran, which makes my argument invalid as soon as i post it.
Im not sure whos looking like an asshole here.
In the end you do have to deal with it though.
Well this was entertaining.
I never claimed beeing good(i dont say im bad either). Its just easy to see that youre(use this word right the next time) blaming your inability on the netcode, while other players can adjust to lag.
Also are you saying youre good at this game because you were good at MvC2? Thats the same sanford supposedly said before ranting about the game beeing for scrubs and women(not my wors, his).
Waaaaait. You dont have a playstation or xbox and claim the online is bad?
I didnt call you personally a bad player, but just people going with your line of thought generally.
Youre accusing me of beeing bad. And you dont have any proof at all.
And the false information im spreading is what? That the netcode isnt perfect, but that you cant change that?
The slave analyogy doesnt fit at all by the way since nobody forced me to say this and i didnt copy anyobody elses opinion without knowing its content.
+you didnt get that “You have to deal with it though” was intended to poke at your slave-analogy. actually im not going to respond to whatever sentence you use this with because its absolutely stupid.
How about both of you get your asses on PM’s instead of wasting thread space with this shit, or just put each other on ignore list, because this shit is getting ridiculous.
My entire argument here is that the game has bad online play. Wireless has nothing to do with the fact that the game is designed to have high input lag online. I do not experience lag spikes in a large majority of matches I play online in any game, automatically assuming it comes from me is crazy. I’m not an idiot, I know if my internet is acting up. If I play one game and its fine, then next guy I get lag spikes the entire match, then next guy after that is fine again with no lag spikes, chances are it was the other player.
I’m not saying I have some perfect internet setup because I agree about wired being better but again my entire argument is about how the game handles input lag. I was under the impression that you thought the game didn’t have any input lag from the way you were talking. I normally wouldn’t assume that but considering the large amount of people who claim to have no lag at all, it’s hard to tell.
I know that. Cause neither have i experienced the lag being bad(or bad enough that you couldnt adjust to it), nor do i think that if its bad you could change it. So deal with it
Numskull is a cute word though.
if you have a character you play online and your only shooting beams or doing bbcs combos, its not very hard and the terrible input delay isn’t so bad with those types of strats… However once you start going for intermediate combos or advance tactics, the game falls to shit. Thanks to the HUGE amounts of input delay, anything other than raw basics is VERY hard to land.
offline i’m like 9\10 on my spidey bnb which is quite a long combo. I’ve played about a 100 games online and even though receiving several opportunities a game, I have yet to land it more than 5 times online so I’m forced to do these shitty combos that do no life combined with terrible strategy.
Basically why you should NEVER adjust. You are playing to different game when you play online, and what ever you play is gonna fuck you up in the other one. Especially if you are a player that wants to be good, online input lag can be unpredictable. Are you saying that you should adjust to each and every setting? If so, then you will be a bad player forever.
In MA, its quite horrible when you want to hop online and play a local friend, even worse playing someone in VA. I wish they had it broken down by regions
just for information , are there actually any fighting games out there that have a netcode that allows you to have a low input lag with anyone that isnt in your city or region ? and where netplay actually helps for tournaments and getting better in general?
because I’m pretty surprised to hear some people praise Blazblue’s netcode while on Dustloop , Blazblue tournament players never miss any chance to tell people that want to get good not to netplay at all , and to play offline instead.
I mean , sure we can bitch about it to capcom and try to make them get the netcode better , because the input delay is horrible , but there’s still a limit on what is physically possible so at the very best people will be able to fight online with hardly noticeable input delay only with people from the same region at the very best , people that you could just try and meet up to play since they’re not very far
There have been a few cases in which netplay made people better. GamerBee got gdlk in SSF4 by playing Japanese players on Live. RougeYoshi said part of the reason why he’s so good at MvC3 is that he plays sets of 50 online with Filipino Champ.
Let me get this straight you know people playing just down the road and you’re wasting time playing this junk online? Please for the love of all that is holy and good go have some offline sessions, if not for you do it for all the people who wish and pray for a scene everyday and cry themselves to sleep every night after playing online and losing to stupid shit like not being able to block at all.
You too Vargas go play vs your brother, oh by the way nice Powerslave avatar. UP THE IRONS!
Maiden for life, looking to get it tattooed on the back next week actually. I do play with my bro, but he’s not very good at fighting games, so it gets pretty boring fast. He likes it, he just can’t grasp the button inputs very well, he’s a WoW player lol. Also yea, the fact that I hate his girlfriend, she can be a real bitch, we just don’t get along. It was more or less just a kick in the face with the connection though, cause you’d think in 2011 you could play a fighting game with next to no lag with someone in the same city.
I am by no means an expert at this game. So far, my rank is rookie with one star. But I agree with everyone when they say that this netcode is terrible. I have encountered people who mashed buttons like idiots, people who did aerial-assist combos and I couldn’t break out of them.
The match-making system is also garbage. You can never find someone close to your skill level.
So Capcom, fix the goddamn netcode. The online spits in the face of people trying to learn this game and grants wins to people who didn’t earn them to begin with.
