The only problem I have is Match-Making
it fails so hard…
The mathmaking system is hell stupid for euro players
You have to just select “english” and pray…LOL …god we can play just player matches,wich is fine but one of the things I liked about ranked was that you were always against someone else
Please capcom fix this shit,so I can blame you about the netcode
Today, I played a good 2 or so hours online, and most of the matches were smooth, as compared to yesterday where it was half and half.
-I find it almost impossible to find ranked games
-If the connection fails im brought abck to the main menu (WTF??)
-If theres more than one person in the lobby and you get ragequit, you get kicked off the machine?? double WTF
One of the worst online interfaces I have ever seen for a game.
OK, here’s the way to avoid “Failed to join game session” messages.
- Select “Custom Match”
- Set Language to English
- …
- Profit
I went from 4/5 attempts failing to 4/5 attempts succeeding by making that change.
I’m literally about to return the game, I cant find any matches on PSN and when I do it’s lag city or against way higher ranked players. The input delay makes it impossible to pull off anything. I’ve got it on my 360 as well (odd story) but I guess I’ll keep that and play local only.
The finding matches thing is a lot simple when you don’t search for the same rank. I rarely miss finding them now.
As for lag, I’ve had it much worse. It still isn’t very good…but for some reason I’m actually better at performing Spidey’s shit IN lag than out of it…don’t know why.
I get disconnected or failed to join all the time on ranked. On both quickmatch and custom (everything set to ‘any’ , I get maybe 1 in 8 attempts to start a match. Input lag also makes me miss a lot of basic specials 
I can join player matches just fine, usually. Actually, one of my friends says he can never connect when I make a lobby, but the few other people I played with joined just fine.

Dear lordie, the input delay in this game is harsh on me. Strange, because when I play other games like Blazblue, or even SSFIV, I seem to get good connections. In this game…oh man…I can’t do any of the combos I’ve practiced so hard offline.

It’s pretty random for me. There’s always a little lag. It helps for me to play slow attacking characters so I have enough time to hit confirm into another move. Pixies are too hard to use online since you can only pray your combo comes out while you are “queueing” the inputs.
Then I don’t get the problem. Like, I was with you guys, but once I set to any rank, I was good. I still get knocked out every so often, but not that much.
Hmmm, wish I could say the same about Spidey’s stuff. I can’t get his Spider bite, Web swing combos for shit online. In the training room it’s money. 
This sums up my experience. I have passable internet (not top of the line, but not too bad) and my matches have been near flawless. It just takes forever to find a match outside of running Fight Request.
Had a match on xbl that would freeze after about a half second of gameplay, and stay frozen for around 15-30 seconds, sometimes up to a minute constantly saying the opponent had to reconnect or something. After five minutes the timer was only at 74, and the other guy seemed content to play in it. Back out to dashboard, and got penalized by the game for leaving early/ragequitting. Sucks though since the game was unplayable. Any similar experiences?
I’ve given up entirely on Ranked Matches, at least until they fix it. The worst addition had to be the lack of a search function for ranked matches, or at the very least a lack of ability to host your own ranked match. I don’t want to play with some bumfuck farmer out in Arksansas with his utorrent on, I want to get into a match sometime between now and MvC4 and at the least it not display “Waiting for players” midway through and beyond.
The netcode itself is pretty good, the game is slow so input lag feels a bit worse compared to MVC2, but after the first 20 matches, I couldn’t notice. Lag is alot more painful in this game then in SF, that much is true. I think the matchmaking is the worst, as others have said, and I’d rather just do player matches cause lobbies suck ass too.
Worse addition has to be the fact that if I win the match, but the dude plug pulls near the end or in the middle, I go to the back of the line. I don’t care if it kicks me out, but it was my turn, and I fucking won, why do I have to stare at dancing cards for eight matches when I was winning/won?
Terrible shit, to a great game otherwise.
Fuck this netcode, I can’t find a single xbox match and when I do its like having the lag simulator at 3 bars. People in NYC are giving me issues? WTF!
