Anything *csb is zipped (#EMZ) and jammed in the battle.eaf file.
Because CPK files are differently structured this time, I had to update SFIVAM to a new version that supports these differences.
I did not test the new version thoroughly but it seemed stable when I tried on the super announcer mod.
Besides the music itself, CSB files contain configuration data regarding volume, loop points, audio data offset and other technical stuff.
I took the main idea from your pack (thank you for sharing it with us) and made my own one

This guide is fantastic – already made life so much easier. Changed out the sound of someone joining a game so that if i’m doing stuff while waiting for a new challenger, i know when they join.
Question I have though is if its possible to turn off the music that plays randomly in the 1-on-1 lobby where you wait for new challengers. The music tracks are random so I can’t figure how I would turn that off without disabling the music altogether.
Just wanted to give a big thanks to all the people who contributed to this thread and all the tools/ideas supplied.
Working on a completely custom soundtrack for stages (Looping, no Cuts) using mostly themes from other games to suit the nature of the stages (not characters) and will be glad once I get it working - Took a lot of pooling through posts to find answers to some issues (First 17 themes I converted where either white-noise or too slow/fast so recompressing the .WAV’s to proper format and HOPEFULLY things will be ok).
Will be happy to throw up video samples of stages once this is done… Won’t be the first time I’ve remade a soundtrack for a Capcom Game - Ironically one or two tunes I intend to throw into SF4 are from the first MusicMod I made (For Resident Evil 4) which has the same silly issue where BGM is very low compared to regular sounds - Capcom seem to love this feature for some ridiculous reason.
Done all 17 Tracks and will likely swap some here and there but I’ve typically gone for a) Lyric’less themes/tunes that b) Somewhat tie in with the default music theme of the stages.
In short, I’m trying to stick relatively close to how the music was but just vary it up - Using mostly themes from other games or tunes I like.
So Ive desperatly tried to get this to work for about 4 hours. I am really frustrated so Im going to ask what Im doing wrong.
I downloaded my tracks off YT and converted them into a .Wav.
I somehow managed to make them a .adx file. So far so good.
Now heres the problem: EVERYTIME I try to add the China Vox song from 3rd strike (named chinawox.adx adx file obviously).
The CBS Packer says : File 2 is not a valid adx file…
Ive tried the files with the SFIVAM. And it definately was able to play them. But on that one theres the problem that the combine multiple ADX files to an AAX doesnt seem to work.
Because everytime I want to put 2 adx files into one AAX i select two of them in the filebrowser and press OK.
After that NOTHING happens.
So Im basically stuck and cant do anything. Help please
