First part, I don’t know. I’ll have to check. But sadly it won’t be as good of an assist as you’d think. I kinda wanted her OMNOMNOM to work if I said qcb+HP in the custom assist, but it defaults to the move name.
Edit: OK, I checked again. You CAN set s.HP as her custom assist (I thought I did check it on launch), and if she’s headless the HP headbutt does happen. Since she technically physically does not have any startup or recovery for the headbutt (only the head does), she lands after you call, then immediately does her short taunt and leaves the screen as the HP headbutt is moving, making it one of the most spammable assists I’ve seen yet. lol
Second part, forgive me, I forgot you were in the EU. Good news about the release date though!
On block, it can’t be cancelled. Well, I’ve never been able to cancel it. Think about it; if you COULD follow up on block, then when would you be able to punish the move?
No, you cannot do the follow up to the uppercuts on block. The only exception is if the opponents point character blocks the attack, but their assist gets hit by it.
I seriously didn’t know why it wouldn’t take. I thought I ran into the Cere DP Assist throw issue again. Then I noticed the arrows direction had changed.
I’m so bad. But oh, there are even more matches I am uploading now. One of 4 is already up, but yeah… I have too much time, and not many friends to play. Least Tbro has variety.
Feral Edge is the only other possibility off a grab at peak height. This includes a j.LK, j.MK (2 hits) XX dash, throw setup. Most times it’s the best possibility, unless the level 3 is available. If you cancel Feral Edge quick enough, however, you won’t lose the OTG (you will for level 3).
Now, you can set up a grab to be lower to the ground, and you’ll see it against Double a lot in the video I posted above your post. It works on everyone, but basically it’s a j.LP, j.LK then throw. If you do that, you can j.LK before you hit the ground and continue but the timing is tricky.
