im new to ms. fortune just wanted to know if doing st. lpx2, st. lk, st.mp, st.mk, st.hk, j.lp, j.mp, j.hp, cr. lk, furserker barrage, cr. lk furserker barrage, cr. lk, st.mk, st. hk, j,.lp, j.hp j.hk was a good combo and if dropping the j.hk at the end for an air-dash, air grab reset was a viable option or not.
i dont think the foward heavy punch tu omnom works on heavies it stops there . people like bella double etc. just asking i know yu did it on filla
Hey guys, I just uploaded my first video ever to youtube. XD
It’s not my best performance by far, and I drop combos for sure, and my Parasoul was not doing great this game, but still it’s a fun video I think.
You can see some really good partial combos though. Where I do the j.MK and the air QCB MK doesn’t connect, if I had done it fast enough as I should have I am quite sure the om nom on the ground would have connected, as I had not used my ground bounce yet.

Nice!
On to the real talk. At 0:15 you start a combo, then try to move the head afterwards. Consider moving the head while doing the j.MK’s 2 hits by way of f+HP. The recovery will be done by the time you’ll need the OTG and the head will be close enough for any of the OTGs.
Also, when the opponent lingers around the head but you know they like to take to the air, consider doing the sneeze. It’s especially useful when the opponent decides to just smack your head.
Some recent matches. Video 2/5 in Set 2 against my friend in Online Matches.

The combo as listed will trigger infinite protection riiiiiight there. Now, it’s not the end of the world. Notice you haven’t started an air combo with j.LK, or even used it for that matter, so just slap it on there.
Grab resets are always a nice option. I’m not sure if this version would require strict timing. Usually I just launch and throw at the peak of the jump, or do j.LP, j.LK, throw if I want to follow up with an OTG j.LK falling down.
Also, since you’re new, take a gander at the Character Guide I wrote. A lot of stuff is from my experience but I’m hoping others will contribute. I also hope newcomers to Fortune like yourself will be able to come up with their own head games.
Neither. Its a capture.
right now im focusing on playing with my head on and with it off just keeping it around for omnomnom resets like do an air combo have my head travel to me launch my head towards the opponent with st. hk and use omnomnom when i think they may move or something. i like her so im really playing with her. Also i found a way around it but im still wondering is doing 4 or 5k good or average
anybody else get a update for xboxlive
How is it neither? It can be blocked, which was the answer to his question.
Ignore it. It’s just for controller inputs. Since not everyone just uses the same 360 Pad / Arcade Stick
can you block it? I didn’t think you could
It’s a hit throw, aka a regular hit but with an animation. Has the nice benefit of beating armor.
It can be blocked. On hit, it stops armored moves too, even though it starts with a hit.
So I was searching for East Coast SkullGirls lobbies last night since I live in Virginia, and got nobody within 7-10 minutes. Then I searched west coast and got a 93 ping match in 5 seconds.
Where are all the East Coast players. ;-;
I faintly remember Mike stating that one can’t use the Head for assists;
so if I put HP as assist, drop head, tag out, then call the assist again, what happens?
Does she just not do anything? Does she call the head, then do the normal attack?
Or did I remember that incorrectly and it would actually cause the head to attack?
(Can’t test it myself, don’t have the game yet)
I think “blockable throw” would be the more accurate definition -
For one, this explains why it beats armored moves;
For two, this means it gets beaten by throw invincible attacks (which is the case afaik).
Except it’s called a hit throw. It’s a hit with throw properties. I didn’t invent the term it just is.
Also it should beat throw invincible attacks, because it isn’t a throw.
You can put HP as the assist, then when headless the HP headbutt will happen. However, f+HP and b+HP can’t be set because there are no command normals with that input, dp+HP can’t be set because there is no such motion with the head on and qcb+HP defaults to choosing tossing and recalling the head only (qcb+P).
Also, why do you not have this game yet? I have it twice already lol
Thank you! Does it work like with a tag-in, that the HP headbutt happens the exact moment that MsFortune enters the screen, or does she have to actually land here?
I sit in the EU and don’t really want to bother with creating an US account and being forced to buy PSN cards from overseas every time a DLC char gets released.
