yeah. It’s being torn to shreds.
Everyone’s like “it’s not my lion king”
Yeah. It’s not mine either laughs in Kimba the White Lion

I forgot about this one…
I know people worked hard on it and it’s a masterful piece in regards to technical CGI. However, Disney needs to hold this L
What happened to Eva Longoria?
You can’t call it an L if it’s not even out
We know it’s going to make it’s money. It’s the more critical take I am referring to.
soooo finally watched Alita Battle Angel and it was actually pretty good. At first I didn’t wanna watch cause Alpha Charlie loved it and we know his -cancer- taste. But if SJWs were looking for their “strong independent woman” bs movie this definitely was it. It shits over Captain Marvel, Dark Phoenix Aladdin etc
Feel it should have been released in the summer tbh
Universal is having another go at this…
Might as well it’s been what like 15 yrs since the last try?
Really…does Hollow Man count?
That was in 2000 lmfao. More than 15 now

Whether peeps care or not rotten tomatoes currently holding at 60% damn…
Based on 120 reviews. Seems like a small number… Is that the average
Yeah but even so it’s rare a movie shoots up from where the ratings place it at. If it currently at 60%now I will be very surprised if it climbs up.
A few days ago it was teetering on going into high 40’s. So this is an improvement. Lol
I want that movie to drop down a point just so it can’t get that fresh sticker. After seeing Beauty and the Beast, this type of soulless cash grab really shouldn’t be a thing. Nostalgia is one thing, but it’s not enough to say it should exist.
I was flying back in from Reno for a project and watch Back to the Future (again). It got me thinking, what’s are some scenes from movies that always gives you an emotional response no matter how many times you see it? For me a few that come to mind are:
Back to the Future - The Clock Tower sequence. No matter how many times I see it, the 13 minutes it takes for a dude to plug in an extension cord while a car does the longest acceleration sequence to 88mph keeps me in suspense to this day.
Return of the Jedi - Luke vs Vader (Final battle) - This is my favorite moment in all of Star Wars. When the music cuts in, that shot that follows Luke from the darkness into the light while pushing Vader back is a symbolic moment.
Backdraft - The final “You Go, We Go” moment through the ambulance is well directed action and drama. The movie is also one of the best examples of Hans Zimmer’s score.
I’ll be laughed at for most of these, but here you go…
Terminator 2: Judgment Day: The final scene where T-800 lowers himself into the molten steel and John protests.
X-men DOFP -
a) Old and Young Charles talk through wolverines mind
b) Old Magnus says"All those years wasted fighting each other Charles. To have a precious few of them back" and then shakes hands with Old Charles
c) The climax where Mystique is about to fire on Trask while Xavier appeals to her while in the future Iceman is killed and the Sentinels are about to blow away Xavier/Shadowcat/Xavier
Wonder Woman - Steve Trevor’s sacrifice
Logan - Ending
Avengers Endgame -
a) On your left
b) I am Iron Man
c) I dont think I will
Spider-man (2002) - Uncle Ben’s death
Spider-man 2 (2004) -
a) Dream sequence with Uncle Ben.
b)The ending . Spidey gets MJ and the final swing
Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan - Death of Spock
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm: When Bruce gets the Dear John letter and then it transitions to him putting on the mask for the first time while Alfred gasps. Such a powerful moment
Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. The whole flashback sequence.
“I’ll break you in two” . IMO Hamill’s best and most sinister performance in all of the DCEU. "behind all the sturm and batarang, you’re just a kid in a playsuit crying for mommy and daddy. It’d be funny if it werent so pathetic. Oh what the hell I’ll laugh anyway
Batman: Under the Red Hood. Jason’s speech to Bats in the end
Transformers the Movie 1986 -
a) Death of Optimus
b) Autobots , Transform and roll out. I knew you had potential , lad
Aladdin (1992) - Al frees Genie and he says"You’ll always be a prince to me"
Return of the Jedi - Vader is torn between loyalty to the Emperor and saving Luke.
He picks up Palpatine and chucks him.
“Tell your sister you were right. You were right”
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: After Elsa falls to her doom, Indy tries to get the grail but is told by Henry to let it go. The music is just perfect.
Schindler’s List (1993) - The ending scene, then the “where are they now” scene where the movie goes from black and white to color…
Robocop : when Murphy is getting wasted, his partner watches horrified how they shoot him to death. You can feel the impotence and horror
Wonder Woman : No man’s land scene when Diana climbs those stairs and Trevor tries to stop her. Ironically is one of the manliest scenes ever. Makes me wanna raise my fist in the air every time
Lion King (1994) : when Mufasa tells grown up Simba from the sky “You have forgotten me” “I never forgot you” “Remember who you are” that shit brings me man tears
Batman Returns : Selina Kyle transformation. The bgm coupled with the acting is very powerful
The Dark Knight Returns: when Batman tells Gordon who he is and they show the flashbacks from Begins. Damn son. Also when Alfred is crying by the tomb although gotta admit that scene gets less powerful once you know the ending. The first time I watched it though was like yo I got dust in my eye
Inglorious Bastards: intro scene where Monsieur DeLapetite gets broken by Hans Landa. The tension and crescendo of the scene is fantastic
Up intro
