"Movie And A Show" Thread: Popcorn Optional

Picked up Bladerunner 2049, City Heat and Valarian and the City of a Thousand Planets. Never seen Valarian before but I like Luc Besson movies and I remember the trailers looking fun. Just started it.

Edit: I was right. That was good visual fun. Gonna check out the comic.

I was thinking the same thing. From Marvel we have Luke Cage and Crossbones. From DC we got Thunder. And the lead is Moneypenny from 007.

Toy Story 4

Woody did it for that porcelain puss!

Also I saw Anna. Critics tore it to shreds but I think that was due to the writer/director and not the actual quality of the film cause actual viewer reviews have been really good.

It was this weird mix of Jason Borne and Atomic Blonde. Just a really, really messy and awkwardly paced mix. It wasn’t bad by any means but it was nothing to write home about either.

Summary

My main issue with anna is there were CONSTANT time jumps to past, to present, to a little in the past, back to present, back to past, back to present. It was a constant annoyance that made the pacing incredibly frustrating. Cillian Murphy was great in it though. As was the lead actress (the name escapes me)

Oh… OK.

Saw Anna, pretty good…

I was kind of looking forward to this movie…

That’s a fucking shame. Mouseguard is such an amazing series and it would have been great to see even one of its arcs on the big screen

This looks terrible… I wanna see it

Fucking…what?

Cyber punk Ghostbusters?

With a splash of doom?

I was thinking evil dead but I can see doom

They were showing a lot of BFG’s in that trailer.

That’s certainly something.

Soft pass for me…

Like…I don’t think Kristen Stewart is very attractive…however the hairdo is doing it for me. It’s pretty friggin’ cute.
