Saw Alita Battle Angel for the 3rd time in theaters. Worth it! So fucking good! 
And i saw the original anime years ago and HATED it so much. I thought that out of all the animes they could have adapted, they were idiots to greenlight this shit. That James Cameron was out of his damn mind.
Wow. I was 100.00% Proven Wrong. Actually, i’ll say this already ranks up with 2019’s Best movies of the year.
Right? The first trailer made me not wanna see it at all. It seemed like they were rereading water but they most Def are doing something totally different.
Like there seems to be a lot of omitted characters from this movie (the lack of Abe Sapien, Liz and Krauss is super disheartening.) and seems like there is less of a focus on the BPRD but I’m still willing to see where it goes.
It may just be the arc their taking it from. Since they did at some point do a spin off series too with the department.
Also the fact Bruce Campbell isn’t lobster Johnston is a criminal offense

Got back from Alita a little while ago. I fucking loved it. I really really hope it gets a sequel greenlight. I am over the moon with how much I loved this movie.

I’ll wait til it’s available on iTunes. I don’t like buying physical movies/tv shows unless I absolutely have to or they are significantly cheaper than digital. IE: I got cowboy bebop Blu-ray for 24.99 at work while it’s $60 on iTunes.
I just wait for the physical release to come out. I haven’t bought anything in several years that doesn’t
not have the digital copy. That being said, I have gone the Steelbook route with releases where applicable.
