From the perspective of special effects I am inclined to agree with you, but from a story perspective Terminator 2 is lacking in down to earth characters put in extreme but still believable situations. Also, the original continually changes the relationships between every person and thing throughout and is more immersive because of it. I like the first one especially because I enjoy the Sarah Connor/Kyle Reese scenes over the John Connor/T-800 scenes.
P.S. I think the Sci-Fi Horror vs Sci-Fi Action labels are apt.
Just got out of Good Boys. It was fine. Nothing too exciting. Honestly the last 10-15 minutes were the only memorable parts. The two older women that served as sort of as antagonist were really cute too.
I did enjoy one of the mains characters favorite things to do was play a deck-building card game named Ascension. It’s one of my favorite card games. I demo’ed it more times than I can count when I worked at the hobby shop in Seattle and I was TO for it at conventions that held regional qualifiers for it.
