I’m down to learn some MB, but we gotta get more consoles for it. I’m done with Warp’s PS2 and maybe I can fix up another one. Between Lan Di and Warp that’s two, maybe we could find a third of fourth?
There are other ways to make a copy of MB playable.

yeah i’m pretty sure Actress Again is only arcade/PS2.
Seriously it takes like 5 minutes to mod a PS2 to play burned games, and about 2 seconds to remove the mod if you decide you dont want it anymore. getting PS2’s to play it on isn’t a problem.
I wasn’t sure talkin’ modded stuff is kosher. By “fix up” I had a certain intent in mind.
Modding is legal, I can do whatever I want with my PS2. Downloading/copying/burning the games however…
I was actually referring to boot disks or running a legally purchased copy of MBAA on a PC using a PS2 bios you legally obtained from your own PS2. You know, incase the only sticks you had were for 360 or some non PS2 system. (Hopefully saying that won’t get me in trouble.)

I actually wouldn’t mind getting into MB. I got too excited with the announcement of MvC3 that I’ve been playing MvC2 lately. If anyone gets an early copy of SSF4, we should meet up and start leveling up…

Guys I spent all night last night reading up on MB:AA and dicking around in training mode, and holy crap is that a deep game. It’s going to take a lot of time aging together to get decent, but I think it’s totally worth it. It’s pretty unique.
Let’s have a Melty Blood tourney on the same day as our release party. Doesn’t have to be for money or anything- just pride.

EDIT: Here’s another idea: let’s all go to midnight releases and advertise ARFGN there. Gamestop in Conway is having a midnight release. Someone want to drop by and talk to them about us?

Also, even though this is kind of late, think it’d be a good down to set up weekly or bi weekly ranbats (or even monthly) after MWC.

A little update on the thread: In 57 days, we’ve posted 1018 times. That’s almost 18 posts a day! Pretty close to a page of activity a day! Not bad guys. In retrospect, the old Arkansas thread took 1066 days to post 1110 times. That’s a little over one post per day. Look at how far we’ve come Arkansas. Feel proud of yourselves. We’ve almost caught up to the old Arkansas thread that was made THREE YEARS ago. Fucking awesome.

Oh yeah, I forgot; I have a tuner card that can be used to save games, but I can’t stream because my card only works on my proprietary software (Windows Media Center).
