Since I wasn’t able to make it out tonight to issue the weekly recommended dosage of hands and shit, I went ahead and did something constructive. I created a Facebook group for ARFGN. Just search Facebook for Arkansas Fighting Game Network, and viola, success. Anyway, we need some kinda graphic for the group page, as a large blue question mark is kinda cheesy.
Join up, we’ll make it happen.
Awesome man. I’ll update the OP appropriately in a bit. We apparently have a lot of people that are good with graphics/design that hang with us. iTorres made our fliers, Ghost said he was good with design, Jeremy said he was really good at art. Any of them could make our group avatar.
EDIT: Imp- you want to host weekly get-togethers at your place on the weekends or are some weekends bad for you? Even if they are, I’m sure somebody else can host. Didn’t Ghost offer one week? Also, is it possible to change the layout of our blog? You don’t have to right now, but sometimes it’s hard to read with all the text squeezed into one thing area.

The weekends at my place is fine. I know there are some weekends that will be bad. I know too many assholes who are getting married soon. How selfish of them. But I will know these kinds of things in advance and will let everyone know. I’ll generally be ready by about 1:00.
GG to everyone last night. Had a blast playing HDR, and of course Rainbow Ed. Overall though I think Jackie Chan may be the game I am going to focus on.

Now… if you guys dont mind driving an additional 20 mins from where Imp lives, I can ask my boss if he doesnt mind us using the shop after hours to host… were talking room for a dozen setups, wed just need a few more chairs. Its right off the Alcoa road exit in Benton.
Yeah boss said it was fine as long as we did clean up before we left… so probably would need 2 people to stay alittle bit late (30 mins) and just help put things back where they were before. So yeah… its up to you guys, but we can fit probably 30+ people in here easy.

We can just set up “weekends in LR” and then move locations depending on who can post which week. Also, I got Judo at 3, so I won’t be down till like 4 or 5. And yeah, for the blog it looks better in terms of how much room the text has. I don’t know how I feel about the colors though, but that’s not that important haha.

About the Facebook thing, how big or what dimensions does the image need to be? I don’t have a Facebook account so I know next to nothing about it. I’m sure I can come up with something later today and we can always change it later if we come up with something better.

I want to say it’s 48 by 48 (did a quick Google search and that’s what people are saying).
Can you make one for the group AND one for the tourney? Sorry for the trouble, but I’m gonna make the Event page for our tourney and I think it’d look more legit if I put up an avatar on there before I invite people.
Wish I could give you better feedback. I’m not really a fashion/color kinda guy. It just looks kinda… depressing right now. Anybody else have any suggestions? You don’t have to change it if nobody else has a problem. Mike said he thought it looked fine.
