Anyways, So everybody know the tournament is going to be on April 3. As of this point, We have SF4, T6, Tvc, Melee and Brawl( For the sake of number of people). However, We want to know, are there anygame y’all prefer to play in the tournament. Obviously there need to have enough demand for us to a tournament or some sort.

Yeah. We need to get this info ASAP. It’s really important that everyone gives their inputs on ANYTHING related to the tourney because we’re planning this out within the next few days and once everything’s planned, it’s just about set in stone.

It was an absolute blast. I ended up rolling in with Zen and Ghost before work, round one’ish. Got come good games in. Learned some stuff. Went to work came back, and then proceeded to go across the street and hang out at the party goin’ on. At this rate i’ll be the shit in a decade or two. Which is okay I guess, but it was a blast indeed. Isn’t that right, “Alan”?

Also guys, I updated the info on the tourney. This is what we have so far:
2) April Tournament date SET!
Saturday April 3
Time: Around Noon-ish for Registration. Around 2PM Tourneys begin.
Place: TBD (Hendrix Campus?)
Venue Fee: TBD
Tournament Fee (per game): $5
Games played: SFIV, T6, SSBB, SSBM, and TvC. We can run more games IF there is sufficient interest (Blazblue, SCIV, HDR, MvC2, etc.)
Additional Info: Whatever the venue fee is, it will NOT be over $10 nor under $5. It WILL include free pizza and drinks. We are trying to make this BIG. We have talked to at least 20-30 people who have said they’re willing to come to just the SFIV part of the tournament. Tell your friends and get hype!

Man, I think by the end of the night the only person who actually knew my name was the chick in the biker shorts. Where you still there when the cops showed up? Yesterday was a blast though, both Street Fighter and non Street Fighter happenings. There was a good turn out, Blake, Tim, Ghost, Tony, and Panda all came by. We actually busted out some old school and got in some Alpha 3, 3rd Strike, Garou, and KOF 98. This has been a hard post to write because the letter that resides between the C and B on my keyboard is not working for some reason. Oh well.

My suggestion for another game for the tourney would be Garou. Reason being that, though not all of us may own the game, it can easily be downloaded and played on peoples computers. Folks can get in plenty of practice on GGPO and such. That’s my 2 cents.
