Most useful RD setups

No it does - RD can combo after HP SRK canceled on the first hit, but it’s almost useless and not that easy to do in real fight.

On a stunned opponent, unless I’m mistaken. Never seen this.

It doesn’t work: first hit (or second) of SRK (hitstun) --> demon --> opponent cannot be catch cause of hitstun so he can jump or SRK or jab or anything fast…

The only way (without opponent stunned of course) to combo with demon is with a far HK (you can add a jumping deep HK or HP before)…

I believe u guys, but i’m sure i’ve done 18 hit’s combo with j.hk, hp, hp-srk canceled to SGS without stun. Have to check this out

You can do that 18 hit thingie When…

…They’re in stun already and you hit them with that combo…
… one hit gets them into a stun… i.e. The hk or Dragon punch.

If you guys are talking about a firce DP in a ragin demon in the corner and up close then “yes” it can be done, if not then give this a try.

yes it can be done… but it will not combo… opponent will jump the demon…

one useful and simple way to land the bitch is: on opponents wake up s.jab twice fast, hide the second in the first, only works on small characters who the s.jabs do not touch, unless their really slow. if their still crouching FINISH HIM! f.mp lk hp. a bit dangerous mind you but the shit does work.

i need advice…me and my frined are gonna have a money match soon and hes really good with remy…i find it a bit hard to land the demon on his remy…ive tried dash in…and the kara one…only one that worked for me was the crouch roundhouse into demon cuz he would try to punish me after the round house…that was the only one that seemed to work but now hes gonna expect that and im not sure which other one to use against his remy lol…i know i dont have to use the move i can win without it but against a remy player is there a demon set up that will work better then other ones?

just ask yourself why cant you land the demon…

is he jumping them when he expects them, if so nail him when he does that and use your two bars to instill fear…

is he poking so much you cant dash into him… punish his pokes/parry/divekick etc…

just react to what he does and take counter-measures against them… if he stops doing those things your demon can land…

I wouldnt rely on it though…

You could try to lure him into doing a sommersault kick on wake up and then demon him when he lands. (or KKZ him i fyou parry that :slight_smile: )

But with his stun and damage bar, you should not “waste” 2 bars of super unless it’s to kill, cr MK into SAI will hurt a lot, or classic st. HP into LK tatsu into HP shoryu, followed by MK d.flip to mind game him

if your playin to win and he stops you everytime, stop trying so hard to do something you have a very low probability of landing… go for kkz\sa123, im not saying give up on the demon but when you play to win you gota do what works ~against the specific opponent~. plus like the other guy said you get his mind of the demon and thats when you can land it.

i don’t know why, but people get scared of dash up demons… i still don’t get it, but i get a lot of those…

Let it go. Ryad’s got the right idea. Just fake him into jumping or whatever and nail him with something else. If you’ve got him really set on stopping demons the money’s practically yours already.

Yeah, If you can’t land it, Then don’t rely on it too much.
I used to have the habbit of trying over and over again if I couldn’t get something done the first time… Just let it go and get the flow going smoothly, It’s no big deal, Get around it.

You should be trying for an sa1 19/20 times anyway.
