MSP is considered really good if you have the execution. Right?
But how many people can have that execution?
How come Yipes is one of the few consistent MSPs out there?
Who cares how easy a rom is, if you get touched once playing with that team you’re going to die. You need to thread the really thin needle in a game like this. You’re going to need crazy setups, and this is why MVC2 takes the cake because it’s execution is more than just combos.
since i havent really played too many fighters to really understand their difficulty. O.Hawk in ST comes to mind though, he first has to get a knockdown in the corner and then attempt to execute that safe jump os.

I see some posts putting SF4 Viper on the list. I almost wouldn’t put her in the hard category. Basically, if you have fast hands that are accurate, you can execute with viper. What are her toughest practical combos anyways? A series into ex seismo, dash, ultra? FFF? a combo ending in SJ Ultra? I think they requrie fast hands that are somewhat accurate. I personally find Vega harder because there is no way to P-link 1 frame jabs. Linking like Vega’s moves and using accuracy and speed like Viper feel like two different skills really.
That is if we are talking exclusively of the SF4 series.

I’m open-minded enough to accept Starfox as an answer. But why? Everyone else has demonstrated with gameplay vids, but the Melee fans just bark that Melee is the real shit, instead of showing us why. Post a video, or break it down.

Then I did research on how to do all them techniques that were presnt in those high level matches. And at an attempt to acquire that skill I had a whole new view of melee.
@Dr Butler Melee fans barking about Melee remind me of Justin Bieber fans. There are many of them and all of them get very emotional and butthurt when someone says something remotely negative about it. And all commotion this just makes it seem like a bigger deal than it actually is. In the end, Melee is just a simple party game

I don’t see this going anywhere productive in the next 6 or so lines so can we just skip it? You can look up any tutorial for melee if you want to make an educated decision, but I doubt anyone will.
I think I wanna reiterate tekken as an execution heavy GAME. Anything where movement is a semi-key indicator of skill has gotta be up there. I just realized this the other day playing against guys who can just fly, it makes you whiff all the time. And then die. Which kinda sucks.

Ask any OG MVC 2 player they’ll know what I’m talking about. I mean I cant even count how many fights have happened due to MVC 2
