A few characters have difficult magic 4 combos, don’t think Paul would be considered a harder character. Others I’d say in Tekken who are hard are Nina, King and Hwoarang.
Someone who hasn’t been mentioned who seemed really difficult to me is SC4 Yoshimitsu. His combos and key JF moves have really tight timing.
Because those matches aren’t real… high level Garou play absolutely does not look anything like that and if you followed the game to a degree you’d know that. It’s comparable to 3S matches being used with save states and other macros where they do crazy shit like red parry the 2nd hit of Chun Li’s SA2 or something. Not saying it’s impossible, or even hard, to use feints like that in a real match though (especially with those two characters… try Jenet’s feint pressure or Jae’s loop if you want something harder). The consistent guard cancels every time are what gives it away though. You will never ever see that consistency in a high level match.
Every JF I can think of in Soul Calibur is on the first active frame (Nightmare 6B:B) or instant (Setsuka 2143a:B).
I think Taki’s 66B:A had a 3f window in SC3, but only the second frame would give you the “just” flash iirc. And I don’t remember how Astaroth’s JF throws work.
Mvc3 and sf4 should not be mentioned at all besides viper… in tekken only the mishima family has higher execution, ive heard kof to a point. Newer games take 2 weeks max to learn the hard shit… mvc2,CVS2,and 3s all have much higher execution.
SF2T-Ken Geif?
Alpha 3-Gen Guy
MVC2-Sentinel(Unfly) Ironman
MVC3-Ironman Viper ammy?
3s-Makoto urien yang necro 12
sf4-viper guy gen makoto
im such a capcom fanboy
Tekken Tag Mishimas. Case in point, nobody outside of Korea could play them at the highest level. This isn’t because of genetics or location or anything, only that tekken tag mishimas can only be played at the highest level on korean sticks. In any other game, a pad, sanwa, or american stick can be feasible but not tekken tag mishimas. I believe Ryan Hart was the closest foreigner to their level, and he used a ps1 yellow namco stick.
Maybe its just because I’ve been playing ST forever, but I can perform almost all of T. Hawk’s setups on the 360 d-pad. That includes stuff like st. mk xx super. I even use the classic inputs when I play HDR. But that’s just me.
IMO…
SF2 - Fei-Long, M. Bison, Balrog (can be annoying to hold down the kicks for TAP sometimes, lots of muscle memory required)
SF3 - Necro
SF4 - Viper, Fei, Cammy
Maybe its because I play on the 360 d-pad, but I find alot of the SF4 cast hard to “execute.” I’ve been stuck at 81% of the trials forever now, lol, probably won’t ever finish them. Also, the KOF games have very strict execution.
As I’ve said many times before, FADC combos are murder on the hands when using a pad. On a stick they get easier, and on a Hitstun they’re probably easy as pie.
Actually no, MvC3 is piss easy compared to MvC2. Right now the list is Akira(VF), Bulletta(Vampire Savior), Zabel(Vampire Savior), Active Stand Characters from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Sentinel(MvC2) and Dhalsim(MvC2). I can’t comment about Tekken. since I haven’t touched Tekken since Tekken 3. If you want to continue to say Wesker is harder, I dunno what is wrong with you.
