Most execution heavy fighting game and FG character of all time?

If the players you’re talking about is 50morecents and Sorryashell then i agree with you, they know high level marvel. But those were the only guys in GA that were actually decent, everyone else was lackluster while i was there back in 2004-2005. And i gamed with those guys on a regular as well and we won all of the GA tournies we attended.

I don’t know SorryAshell unless he went goes by a different alias now.

Anyway the top talent in Atlanta area were 50Morescent, ATL_CPU, Pokchop, Launchpad, Zach, and toomuchdamage (he went by Banna’s in his MVC2 days). ATL had a decent enough scene back in 2006-2008 when I was playing. Not as good as NYC, but our top players were good enough to compete with NYC. It’s not like ATL was full of scrubs. We had good players, and MVC2 wasn’t even the scene’s main game.

Anyway, this kind of went off topic. The reason for making my point in the first place is because people who throw out these games (like MVC2) didn’t play MVC2 back when it was the most competitive game in America. They have come to MVC2 years after the game is no longer played and now want to say it has high execution. The problem is that they saw the highest level play before they saw the lowest level. People don’t remember back in arcades in 2001 having to fight a slew of Iceman/Ironman/Guile teams. They don’t remember THC death combos with Hulk, Colossus, and Juggs. They’re never lost a game due to Gambit snap out glitches, or been trapped by team Watts. People miss the time when these tactics dominated the game, they only see the end result, but not all of the trials and tribulations to get there. I have played MVC2 in arcades since pretty much day 1, and if you though anyone who has ever won a game of MVC2 was some execution master you’re sorely mistaken. My initial point is that MVC2 is an easy game to pick up, and you get some mileage with gimmicks and low tier tactics all day before you really have to learn to take your game to the next level.

Take a game like Guilty Gear, where you need to know FRCs with your character (consistent 2 or 3 frame cancel windows) to even be considered competitive, and you will see MVC2 execution requirements fail to be all that high.

I think that’s ATL_CPU. I could be wrong.

I can kinda see wht=at you mean now, because al i had to play when i started in 09 were the locals at CTF. Beat me with high level tactics all the time and I started with that. I still disagree with you though. But, I can certainty see why you have a diffferant view on this since you started like 02 or something.

Pretty sure this entire thread is solved by any of the selectable char’s in SVC chaos but that’s because that games controls were complete ass.

It took me five pages and six weeks to realize:

The heaviest execution in all of fighting games is that extra-hard spring that comes standard in the Happ/Wico Perfect 360 joystick. Smaller children need to use both hands to operate anything that tough!

Once again, don’t answer my question buddy rofl

Ditto. I can easily say the same for you. -_- Side note: You couldn’t even stop yourself from trolling for one day? Lol! I’m honestly curious as to what kind of life you have outside of trolling SRK

Love looking at good Magnus Marvel 2 execution. Looking at these matches after experiencing / playing MVC3 they brung a tear to my eye. No ground bounce or a year to OTG in this shit. Almost just straight execution & momentum, love it.

You haven’t asked a single question, but keep worming your way out if you want to. It’s pretty entertaining lol

^This. Fuck this. For Daimen, They expect you to throw a :df::snkc: in after the intial attack. My motor skills can not comply.

^Thought I was the only one trippin over that shit. lol

Edit: nvm

And once again, I can say the same for you. I’m probably going to stop posting now since if we continue, it’ll be a cycle of you accusing me of not answering your questions when you have done nothing but avoid my questions(which I asked first) and troll. Have a good day

What question did you even ask then?

Vampire Savior is literally the only correct answer. If you’re play to win, anyway.

just the characters who excel under the speed mode.

i’d like to add SS6’s 4th spirit. the IV spirits customation makes things a little hard to execute…since you can’t mash through the combo slash combo…

ooh ooh…i just realized whats the hardest to execute move of any game.

the “Wolf Fang Fist” skill in Superdragonball Z!

this move is impossible to fully execute on a consistent basis. just impossible!

it’s a combo that has to be perfectly timed with each button tap…and the timing is funky.

something like 1, 123, 1, delay 1.
something really really hard to get down.

funny, i’m in da ghetto…and i enjoy mvc2…
there may be a connection here people.
i also smoke kools and enjoy doritos cool ranch while i play.
do other ghetto folks do the same thing i’m doing?

has anyone tried this? This looks quite complex with 16 different kicks, taunts, leg switch, jump kicks, power kicks etc. You can try the demo.
it has online play too though it hasnt been updated for quite some time.
