About using infinites: Some players used them on Boon to which he replied “no double ground pound”. Somehow he thinks infinites are not legit to use in his game ^^

Midway announced today that the latest fighting game in the Mortal Kombat franchise, Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe, has surpassed 1.8 million copies shipped. The milestone includes both Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PLAYSTATION 3 versions, Kollectors Edition and standard, across the entire world.

It was also revealed that Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe was the most “pre-ordered” game ever in Midway history. In addtion, Midway also announced that over 3.6 million online matches have been played on Sony’s PLAYSTATION Network.

Doesn’t mean the game is good. Way too many bugs, glitches, brain dead infinite of multiple characters and countless other shit.

I own the game. But I regret buying it.

That’s about standard for MK actually. Just another MK that has sold a million+ copies, i.e. like every single one save maybe for MKA, whose sales numbers elude me.

Sadly, MKvDC will probably end up outselling every single other fighting game in 2009. That includes SFIV. :sad:

As much as I enjoyed those matches with Check, MK DA is still my favorite of the last gen MK games.

but seriously, the game could be alot better, alot more playable if the bugs and glitches are fixed. The only question is, does that mean anything to Team Boon?

Boon pretty much said “no infinite’s” when people got to play him and the MKvDC team. So he is aware of how fucked the game is just from that. But they won’t fix it cause they don’t care about competitiveness. Or having good games apparently.

I dont have a problem with infinites as i am about GLITCH infinites, lke Supermans MGP inf or Flash’s/Superman instant kill glitches. Fix the bugs, problem solved.:nono:

But like you said. I dont think they care. People are buying the game, so Mission:Accomplished.

If they really REALLY cared, the last 3 games wouldnt have been as bad as they were.

I’m on the same page. I have no issues with infinite’s due to breakers. But the glitched out ones and just random bullshit that the game presents is just really annoying and a real turn off to the game.

Only character I can use in the game and have somewhat fun with (see: not wanting to rip my eyes out or break my controller) is Sub-Zero.
